I had lunch with a Wife seeking to become a Chi Gung Student, a Student and his Brother this past Friday afternoon.
Michele, asked me why people who once learned Chi Gung, and develop a practice, simply stop practicing. I thought on this over the weekend, but then I remembered that Energy Arts had allowed me to send out this very Answer from Master BK Frantzis way back in 2005; and since I certainly could not better the following answer, I felt it would be a true service to once again expose us all to it once again. I also believe that many in our Energy Arts Family are new, they would and could glean much from this particular Blog.
The following is an article written by B K Frantzis, Ph.D, initially printed in the March 2005 Energy Arts Newsletter ; and used by permission from Energy Arts, Inc.
One of my Certified Teachers asked me why students stop practicing Chi Gung or Tai Chi Chuan. THE TAOIST PERSPECTIVE: Enlightenment is Not Easy. The Taoist perspective is that people are either on the road towards life or one the road towards death. People move towards destructive energies to pay off negative karma. They have inner compulsions, based on natural inclinations and habits that will lead them to making choices that are not in their best interest. These people have karmic propensities that lead them more toward the road of death. This is one underlying reason why people stop practicing.

I was at the doctor's again today. Got more blood work and some specialty tests. We'll see...maybe and may I say "OUCH"...not for the needles, but for the TAPE, since I'm allergic to it! While waiting for my turn, I picked up a copy of TIME Magazine with 100 faces on the cover. HHHMMMMM...100 "most influential people of the year". Many on the Times list I did not know, but many do great work. And regarding many on the list, I could hardly believe my eyes!Read more... Portland, Orygun ...Chi of Nirvana ?

By clicking onto the E-address you will read a rather weird Article on Chi and Portland , Orygun. It seems that Acupuncture is not just for people anymore; it's also for Cities...
Especially if the City happens to be Portland, Oregon (Orygun). What is it you say ?
Well, it seems that a Cosmic Acupuncturist, Adam Kuby has stuck a 23 foot needle into the ground down by the River we call the Willamette. (Wil Lam itt) as in Cousin ITT, the River the flows through the middle of "The Rose City". (Pasadena is "The City of Roses)!

Allow me to take you on a little trip.
It's Mid-January 2008, and I am standing on the hills overlooking
Jerusalem. My mind races, as just 5 days before I was lying on a Hospital bed undergoing Heart Surgery in Portland , Oregon, and my mind was busy dreaming of what I was now experiencing !

I honestly believe that "we are spiritual beings enjoying a physical respite, here." I also believe that ultimately, life is a spiritual quest ...for wholeness, completeness and reconnection to our ultimate source! I believe the words of Jesus and Buddha and Ghandi regarding Meditation and "Thinking on these things!" Why ? Because I have proven them true in my own life! I find I resonate deeply with the poets like Blake and Rumi, Kabir etc; because they resonate with the Divine/ The Universal Consciousness, the Source of all. Again yesterday I was drawn into a substantive discussion about life. I was sharing, (after being asked) and I shared Prayer, Meditation and the Dissolving Practices of the Water School of Taoism as put forth by Lao Tse. Well, someone interrupted, and for the sole purpose of saying "I don't believe that". I said, "so what!, That doesn't change anything does it?" He paused a bit bewildered, nodded in agreement. Truth is truth, it's universal, and no religion or tradition has a corner on it !
