    Getting Started With Chi Gung/Qigong, Tai Chi and Meditation

    Find out what chi (qi) practice might be right for you by attending one of the many lectures, workshops or classes offered by Bruce or one of his certified Energy Arts instructors, reading one of Bruce’s many books, or ordering a CD or video. Bruce has taught 15,000 students of every age and body type the Taoist energetic fitness programs.

    Jump Start Your Practice

    The easiest way to get started is to read Bruce's books or watch some of his DVDs. The books tell you about the benefits of each program and how to learn them and also introduce you to the concepts of Chinese medicine and its relationship to chi gung/qigong and other energy practices. The videos show you what the movements of these Energy Arts practices look like, especially ones that are unfamiliar, such as Heaven and Earth chi gung/qigong or ba gua circle walking. If you are used to seeing vigorous exercise, you may be surprised by these slow, relaxed, and even strange movements and wonder how they can help practitioners achieve speed and strength.

    Take a Class

    The best way to study Energy Arts programs is to take one of Bruce's retreats or workshops or take a class with one of his Certified Instructors. Your teacher will show you the easiest way to learn the movements and how to improve them so you can continuously advance your practice. You will learn how to feel chi inside your body, find where it is blocked and permanently release the tensions that are locked.
