    TAO Meditation, Middle Tantien and the Heart-Mind Print
    From Thursday, March 20 2008
    To Monday, March 24 2008
    Every day

    This is a unique course that emphasizes how any style of Ba Gua, Tai Chi, Chi Gung or other martial-art forms can be used as a genuine moving meditation. You will learn specific techniques from Lao Tse’s unique Inner Dissolving method.

    All TAO practices have two levels:

    • Outer form of external Posture or physical movements;
    • Inner form—the invisible, inner chi practices of Taoism involving the 16 nei-gung components and ways the mind is directed to actualize them.

    Beginners will be shown some simple yet powerful movements so they can get started and fully benefit. If you already have an existing practice you will discover secrets to integrate the inner forms and make them a vehicle for deep meditation. This week continues Bruce’s work on how Nei gung is done within sitting and Moving meditation, including learning about:

    • Motion of the mind;
    • Heart-Mind—the origin of any arising thought and human consciousness;
    • Middle tantien which activates the third and sixth energy bodies in human beings, the emotional and karmic bodies
    • Integrating the functions of the lower and middle tantiens.

    Valuable Background Information: This course is based on Lao Tse’s fundamental and unique meditation technique of Inner Dissolving. The method is explained in Bruce’s books on TAO meditation, Relaxing into Your Being and The Great Stillness (German translations available), and his complete meditation course The TAO of Letting Go (6-CD set).

    Course fee:
    €800 Euro before Feb 28
