  • Five Elements Qigong: Water Element
    PrintPrint E-mailE-mail

According to Five Element theory everything in the universe is composed of five elemental energies: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth. The Water element is associated with the kidneys, which initiate the chi circulation through the five organs. The energy of the Water element is essential to longevity and particularly affects your brain and bones as well as your overall stamina—physically and mentally. Strong kidneys also enable you to deal with fear and help you find security even in threatening situations. Bruce will draw on his practical knowledge of the Five Elements gained through his qigong training in China to teach practical exercises to develop and viscerally feel the energy of the Water element.

    Potential topics include:
    • Feeling the energy of the Water element in your body
    • Increasing the strength of your kidneys and your overall stamina
    • Breathing into the kidneys
    • Dispersing energy downwards and outwards and releasing fear
    • Improving your stamina for longevity and to heal from illnesses.
