    September 10 to 12, 2010

If you want to learn to take your tai chi to the highest possible level, this is the course for you. Wu and Yang Style Tai Chi Lineage Holder Bruce Frantzis will introduce you to the specific energy techniques of Taoism’s 16-part neigong system. This knowledge, rarely available in the West, is the source from which the entire Taoist art and science of chi development is derived. Bruce will show how the physical and internal chi techniques of neigong can be adapted to any energy, healing or martial art practice. As only a master can do, he will observe the students present and determine what is needed most to take their practice to the next level.

    Possible topics include:
    • Increasing and balancing your chi
    • Maintaining physical health and emotional balance
    • Supercharging self-defense techniques
    • Enhancing focus and mental clarity.

Bruce will demonstrate ways to develop chi and reveal the innermost aspects of tai chi. You will discover the connections between small style tai chi (Wu) and large style tai chi (Yang), including both the energetic and movement principles. Bruce will also introduce Taoist meditation you can practice within your form that goes beyond what is in tai chi as a martial art. Bruce will answer questions related to Chen style tai chi if such practitioners attend, but his primary emphasis will be on the Wu and Yang styles.
