Training for more than a decade in China, Bruce found no other single-movement chi exercise as simple yet powerful as Heaven and Earth qigong. It can help relieve back, neck and joint problems. Although primarily done standing, Heaven and Earth is easily adapted to be done sitting at your computer, where it can mitigate such problems as carpal tunnel syndrome. The core energetic process of Heaven and Earth qigong is opening and closing (pulsing), which is at the heart of all Taoist energy practices, including bagua, tai chi, hsing-i and Taoist meditation. Bodyworkers can integrate these opening and closing techniques into their healing practice.

Pulsing is good for your health and relaxation, enabling you to:
    • Develop energy awareness
    • Increase chi circulation
    • Improve the circulation of fluids in your joints
    • Soothe and release physical, emotional and mental blockages
    • Let go and reduce the effects of stress and tension inside your body.
