Dragon & Tiger Movement 7

Hi all. I've been doing the full sequence of Dragon & Tiger for a few weeks now, but I'm still confused about something in Movement 7.

I understand how to use my sword fingers to trace the energy paths from shoulder nests to bai hui, as in Movement 6. I understand how to trace the paths from shoulder nests to palms, as in Movement 2. I just don't inderstand how to do both at the same time.

Do the index and middle fingers trace to the head while the thumb, ring and pinky fingers trace to the palm? Is it rather that the fingers trace to the head while the mind visualizes tracing to the palms? Is it done by some other method?

The book is quite detailed in general, but I must say I think it glosses over this particular issue. On the other hand, there don't seem to be any other people here in the forum asking about this, so maybe it's something plain as day that my brain's just not getting.

Hi, as I understood the

Hi,
as I understood the video, you can do the one version or the other.
You can trace over the ear to the bai hui OR if this is too complicated for whatever reason, you can trace instead along the arm like in movement 2. But the "correct" version is imho tracing from the shoulders nest to the ear to bai hui and then outside.

That's interesting to hear

That's interesting to hear about the video instruction being so different from the book. Thank you for your response.

As a result of meeting Bruce Frantzis in 1992 I am currently enjoying a quality of life I was informed I would not have following a partially successful major heart operation. Although my lifestyle is restricted, I believe that the Tai Chi and Quigong routines, especially Cloud Hands from the Energy gates have enabled me to stay mobile & active , to continue working and keep my medication well below that taken by others in my position.
