I don't know how many folks will be reading this in Boston, but I just wanted to give everyone here a
heads-up. We're starting a new Marriage of Heaven and Earth class next week at Brookline Tai Chi:

On Thursday, February 23, I'm leading a review/introduction workshop for anyone looking to join the class:

If you're not in Boston, we have over 80 certified Heaven and Earth instructors worldwide:

The other day, I got a few of them together to talk about Heaven and Earth, including Senior Instructor Eric Peters, who first learned this set from Bruce in 1982.
We discussed what Heaven and Earth does to take you beyond the core skills you learn in Energy Gates and how
the “opening and closing” in Heaven and Earth prepares you to understand the more advanced neigong that you get to in Bend the Bow
and Gods.

Heaven and Earth was my first
instructor training in 2004. We worked on “pulsing” for days.
Finally, when we had a break, a few of us went to the movies and I
remember looking down at one point and my hands were opening and
closing on their own!
That weird, almost alien experience of the stuff inside the body moving to its own rhythm was the beginning
of what I now understand as internal practice vs. external movement.
Anyway, come to Boston or find someone a little closer to you to learn how to do that. Weird and worth it!
A must read for those who are new to qigong, those who are already practitioners, and anyone interested in complementary medicine or self-help.
