I've been practicing @home, on my own, for well over a year now, starting w/the DVDs and book and following up w/this group class. Bill Ryan really adds to those DVDs by breaking up the exercises and telling you what to focus on. I gained a lot from those ten lessons, learning some things I had not known and internalizing them. But, having practiced for a considerable time BEFORE doing Bill Ryan's lessons, I must say I learned a HUGE amount from Bruce Frantzis's instructor-level class. For example, because it's what I'm working on right now, the correct way to do the foot flick. It is a revelation to me. Ah-hah, now I get it. Not as simple as it looks, but thanks to Bruce Frantzis's meticulous description and demo, I have started to get. Fantastic.
