Closed eyes – Pattern, dots – Phosphene

Hi there,

So, I practice spontaneous qigong, mainly for health benefits. I have been doing so for about 7 months. I have relieved and “fixed” quite a few parts of my body, which is great.

I have also experienced some energy concentrating in my third eye area. Recently though, my qi would lead my hands to rub my eyes, and put a slight pressure on them, and I have been seeing “visions”, called phosphenes in medical terms. The checkered pattern moves spirally, there also are blue dots everywhere and it seems like a second half transparent is running behind the checkered pattern.

Usually my hands go: rubbing my eyes, first run: triangle with my fingers with center at my third eye area, and pressure on eyes with the thumb hand knuckle, then, a second run with just my hands fully covering my eyes.

Did anybody else experience that? Any advice or guidance would be appreciated

HI Dislay,
have read that the lights we see when we rub our eyelids are from energy stored in our eyes in the neural networks at the rear, from the light they take in. that said i some times press them for visions toward the end of the day and have had some psychic ‘patterns or informational aspect ‘from this occasionally. think becouse of practicing psi’ence, psychic things you can sometimes get mystery moment??
