My question is about the heel of the back leg in movement 3 of Dragon and Tiger Qigong. When you are repeating the movement, and you are circling your palms around the dai mai, is the heel of the back leg supposed to stay up, or is it lowered? I have the book, and the pictures seem to suggest the heel stays up, but the text (I could be wrong) doesn't seem to address this. I don't have the dvd yet, but I have been watching the videos on youtube, and it looks as though the heel stays up during repeated movements, but I just wanted to make sure.....

Hi William, You are correct.

Hi William,

You are correct. The back leg's heel remains up throughout the exercise.
