AnonymousGuestCan qigong improve eyesight,
or restore it to the quality of a younger age?November 19, 2016 at 12:15 am #135958
AnonymousGuestCan qigong.. as in does it have the potential- yes. Of course, it depends what is meant by qigong (many systems may all be called that name, and yet be quite different), many ‘qigong systems’ perhaps not.
-Just as the Bates Method is one non-qigong.. but based-upon relaxation of bound-tension, allowing/enabling the nerves to operate-and-upgrade.. as well as the other underlying systems- NeiGong (such as what Bruce teaches in these EnergyArts teachings) does all that, and more directly.
For instance, the liver and heart supporting the eyes (and be sure to not have the “fire” too bright and heat or scorch the eyes…
let-go/sung the eyes, behind the eyes back deep in the head- have that released, and yet be grounded and centered (standing upon the ground) and yet still look and see..(usually IF one can release tension there, when we focus the eyes to specifically look- massive tension activates which inhibits seeing.. but that is how we learned to “look”)…

AnonymousGuestPersonally, I’d recommend Dragon and Tiger qigong. The home study program offered on the homepage is really exceptional.

I’m no expert, but Dragon and Tiger stands for lungs and liver, symbolically, and with the liver connected to the eyes in traditional Chinese medicine it ought to help. And there is a move in D&T, movement four, that focuses on the heart too.
If you’re asking for a recommendation, D&T all the way, if you’re simply asking if it can, Taokua’s answer says it all.

AnonymousGuesthi i am a new member so this is my first post. Yea qi gong will engage the nervous system and your energy should rise. So once we feel that uprising of bloodflow and sinus (a walk would surfice) Go on youtube and lookup face qigong there all good. I’ve had many face injuries and doing the exercise is powerful. This here nettypot<– google that -/it's good. The Nettypot is a recent application i've come up on.

AnonymousGuestI noticed goji berries have a very strong positive effect on the eyesight, a couple of weeks ago when I ate a bagfull.
There is a dvd flying around by the American Vision Institute (now closed down) that you can try – sim to the Bates method that Aldous Huxley amongst others thought was very good.
And in some quarters there is Chi Kung specifically for the eyes.
