    Hello.

What is the angle of the rear foot in Santi? I haven’t seen anything specifically discussing that unless i’ve missed it. If i have could someone please point me to the reference? or provide some guidance i’d appreciate it. I think this might also have some bearing on my second point.

I’ve been standing in Santi everyday for 3 minutes on each side for a couple of months now, trying to do it as closely as i can by following the video, with the alignments etc. I love what it’s doing to my body, and can absolutely understand now why Bruce says it’s the best thing he knows for raw martial power. Long term weight lifter but i’ve never experienced anything like what Santi does.

However i’m recently getting some knee soreness which scares me because i definitely would hate to have to stop. i’ve tried to find the right alignments and balance points with regard to the position as Bruce says in video 1, and don’t feel anything being stressed while in the stance, and am very aware of “thou shalt not shred thy knees”.

i don’t know if its me or maybe whether it’s a normal part of the process. Any feedback would be appreciated, as i’ve said i absolutely would hate to have to stop.

    Thanks,

    Wayne Matthews
