AnonymousGuestI was wondering if there was any plan to release a book or DVD about Tao Yoga?
I would love to be able to find an instructor in Tao Yoga, but I am not in the right location (Manchester, UK) nor in the financial situation (broke university student) to be able to travel to one of the instructors listed on the sight.
Thank you,

AnonymousGuestHello Ian,
There is a kindle edition of Taoist Yoga (Longevity breathing yoga) by B.K. Frantzis available through amazon.com.
Hope it helps

AnonymousGuestHello,
I have this book too (look into the amazon kindle store). Although there is some overlap with other books, I can recommend it. I really would love to see a taoist yoga CD or DVD too.

AnonymousGuesthmmm…well, as a kindle-less person, this is a bit of a setback.
Would be great if this could be published as a book, or even a PDF for sale on the Energy Arts store. A DVD would be good too, as the promo video sparked my interest in tao yoga.

AnonymousGuestYou do not neccesarily need a kindle device. A PC or Mac might be sufficient to read kindle books. I read most of them on ny Mac but I am not totally sure if it works on a PC too ( I suppose it would work).

AnonymousGuestYou can download (for free of course) from amazon and install a Kindle PC version. It will allow you to read any kindle ebook. If one day, you have a separate kindle device, all your ebooks will be available on it also. It is not really an obstacle to your energy work

AnonymousGuestMarc 2,
Thank you for this information. It did not cross my mind that such software existed. Downloading and getting the book soon.
Thanks.

AnonymousGuestHi Ian,
I’m a TY instructor at Brookline Tai Chi, had some thoughts for you – great that you’re getting the kindle book, I think that’s the best way to start. I have some more info on my blog/website at http://www.LongevityYoga.com, so feel free to give that a look. I’m not sure where you are in the UK, but I know there are certified EA instructors who have taken TY classes – Em Burnett, Abigail Dombey, Jayne Williams, as well as senior Instructor Paul Cavel, probably others – not sure if they are teaching TY specifically, but would be helpful contacts I think.
Also, if you are interested in the Longevity Breathing aspect, you can get Bruce’s Longevity Breathing DVD through this website. It’s just the breathing (no yoga) but is an excellent DVD.
Hope this is helpful!

AnonymousGuestHi Katie,
Thank you for your reply.
Of all the material in the Energy Arts system, I seem to be drawn most strongly to Tao Yoga and Meditation practices. I am going to buy the book and work with the practices and, in the near future, with any luck, find a practitioner here in the UK who may help point me in the right direction for further practices.
Will check out your sight too.
Warm regards,

AnonymousGuestHi Ian,
Your welcome! Just a thought, if you can gather enough students who want to learn Tao Yoga in your area, we can come to you to teach class(es). Feel free to e-mail me for more details (LongevityYoga@gmail.com), also if you have questions as you get into the practice.
Best,
KatieApril 13, 2012 at 7:10 pm #131718
AnonymousGuestHi Katie. Your website is great. I especially liked the post on neigong and picking a teacher. Fyi, one of your links isn’t working: https://picasaweb.google.com/KatieBTC/ASamplingOfLBYPostures … said page not found. Which bummed me out because as we briefly discussed when I saw you at pushhands at Brookline this stuff sounds, looks and feels (even from afar) great.

AnonymousGuestHi Sito,
I’m on this chat area so rarely, so i just saw this post! Actually, i think I saw it once before, meant to respond, then forgot to…
Anyway, thanks so much for you feedback. I’ve been changing things around a bit, so I need to get more photos of the postures up. I also have a FB page called Taoist Longevity Yoga.
Hope all is well with you!
