Hi guys,
I am thinking of visiting this school in China (www.chinashaolins.com) for practicing for 1 month under Master Guo (you can check his CV at the page) Jing Gang Li qigong and Iron palm....is there anyone familiar this practice and does anyone know any resources for self-study?
Will this be a good experience to pursue for a month or it doesn't worth it?
Thanks
I first met Bruce in 1992, as a 17 year old, I had all sorts of fantasies about becoming strong and learning to defend myself. Bruce taught me that through hard work and daily practice a world of incredible depth and peace can be found within the art of Ba Gua Zhang that goes far beyond the ability to knock out King Kong.
I studied at a place similar (Shaolins.com) for one year and a little back in 2000. I would see many prospective students come for a month and leave with a little bit of training (Maybe a single Lo Han form) but mostly the experience. I agree that his CV seems impressive but after you get over the shock of training you will be on your way home without a teacher.
If you want an experience then totally go (I have so many great friends from that time) but if you want deeper instruction stay for a longer time.
