Qigong

On the subject of practice...

B. K. Frantzis is the only teacher that I trust. My meager skill has saved me from harm more than once, and I can't abide teachers who expect adulation in return for vagueness. This man is for real, whether you like it or not, and treats his students like adults.

Paul Cavel's new book

"The Tai Chi Space: How to Move in Tai Chi and Qigong" should prove to be quite valuable to my students. The 42 Principles takes one directly beyond the "dance" of forms to a succinct understanding of why we learn and practice the forms. An amazing blueprint to direct the mind's quest for qi energy experience; an owner's manual for the body. All related via simple metaphors imagery and symbols. An extraordinary achievement; thanks Paul.

When the Student is Ready the Teacher Appears

I signed up intending to extend my basic knowledge of Qigong and Tai Chi. Within the first week I found myself in need of those shoulder rolls and loosening of fascia to soothe and help to heal an injury caused by distractedly stepping onto a treadmill. It was not moving. But somehow I lost my feet and found myself hanging on the arm of the machine and severely bruising my ribs. I actually felt them flex all the way back to my spine - a weird and frightening sensation.

Back & shoulder videos lessons render very quick results

Thank you Bruce. I experienced immediate pain relief beginning Level I - 3rd video. I advanced one a day, very slowly and ever since following the rule of 75% of the capacity has been practiced. Smart rule that can be applied to everything we do.

I also feel great doing the breathing routines along the day as I walk or drive, any moment along the day when I feel any stress. .

New Head, Neck, Shoulder Online Program

I have been practicing Qiqong (Dragon Tiger, 5 Keys, Energy Gates) as well as beginning Baqua and Breathing/Meditation for about 3 years, via DVDs, online courses and books. This is an excellent complement to all of these. Lately, partially because I broke the 70% rule practicing Bagua, I've had to take a step back and return to basics, specifically Dragon Tiger and 5 Keys. Practicing both of these as well as standing meditation/breathing. I've noticed that tight neck and shoulders has been an obstacle. The serendipitous launching of this program has been hugely beneficial.

Dragon-Tiger for seniors

Part of the regimen I teach at a senior living campus is Dragon -Tiger Medical Qigong. Seniors ranging in age from 80 to 94 find the first movement especially useful in increasing blood circulation in the legs, ankles and feet, with the intent of drawing blood back up to the heart. Very beneficial to those suffering from nephropathy and diabetes. Thanks Bruce!

Tools for life

I have been practising Tai Chi and Qigong for many years (c15) and it has been the love of my life since I started. I came across Bruce's work in 2015 at a week long retreat in Oxford and I was blown away. I also attended his Ibiza Bagua retreat in 2016. This work is deeply transformational on many levels and once I started training with Bruce and some of his Energy Arts teachers (Aaron Green, Oct 2015) I entered a world of the real internal energetics of this practise.

Dragon & Tiger helps joint pain

Hello from Bulgaria! My name is Ivan Boyanov. This year I have had serious troubles with a bad infectious polyarthritis. Practically all my joints were attacked and the pain was severe. And guess what - I received the two volumes of Dragon and Tiger Medical Qigong books from my cousin as a present. With the help of this qigong, some other energy practices, diet and herbs I managed to clean my joints for two months and the bacteria is out of the system. Now the joints are recovering and I do the Dragon and Tiger set two times per day. It is unbelievable how fast things are getting better!

Dragon Tiger Group - Bill Ryan Basic + Bruce Frantzis Refinements == DYNAMITE

I've been practicing @home, on my own, for well over a year now, starting w/the DVDs and book and following up w/this group class. Bill Ryan really adds to those DVDs by breaking up the exercises and telling you what to focus on. I gained a lot from those ten lessons, learning some things I had not known and internalizing them. But, having practiced for a considerable time BEFORE doing Bill Ryan's lessons, I must say I learned a HUGE amount from Bruce Frantzis's instructor-level class. For example, because it's what I'm working on right now, the correct way to do the foot flick.

Just to let you know, it is the first time I will be starting the course!

For the last 2months I have been suffering with a thing called vertigo. I have never felt so dizzy or sick, as I have never had it before. Through having a few test done. Exercises to do, pills to take, but anyway I feel able to stand up without falling over , that is the main thing.
I do hope that none of the other students had the same feeling?

Good health to everybody taking part in Dragon and Tiger.

Testimonials

I first met Bruce in 1992, as a 17 year old, I had all sorts of fantasies about becoming strong and learning to defend myself. Bruce taught me that through hard work and daily practice a world of incredible depth and peace can be found within the art of Ba Gua Zhang that goes far beyond the ability to knock out King Kong.
