Hi folks,
When doing tai chi and any other internal martial art there is a specific place to put your tongue on the roof of the mouth.
Watch the short video here:
Nice video about tai chi.

Another aspect of 'tongue in the roof of mouth' is that it stimulates production of saliva. I remind students to swallow often while practicing their tai chi. .... good for digestion.
Your short instructions are very good and helpful reminders for all. Thank you for your vast contribution to the promotion of Tai Chi Chuan.....the Grand Ultimate 'Internal Defense'
Thank you, Bruce! Your explanation is perfect! I have never understood where the "roof of the mouth" was, in spite of having being taught by several teachers, reading your books, and trying out several places. The connection with the rest of the face and body makes it all fit together. This teaching has enhanced my tai chi practice significantly. Thank you so much.
In the last three decades I have been trained by some of the leading Western experts in Sexual Meditation, but none of them showed me the depth of material presented in Bruce Frantzis' new book "Taoist Sexual Meditation". It is a quantum leap forward in the field of sexual meditation!
Tai Chi...
