Taoist Meditation and Qigong: Flowing with Change
Due to the success of our meditation course last year in New York, Bruce will be teaching a full day course on Meditation! Using inner dissolving and methods from the classic Daoist text the “Yi Jing” or Book of Changes, this course will show you ways for how to better deal with the changes of life. Enabling you to better emotionally and mentally adapt in your personal, professional and financial relationships, as well as to the realities of our rapidly, changing technological and climate changing world.
No one can ever be exactly be sure how the future will unfold. For anyone, change can be difficult or joyous. If difficult this often creates general discomfort, pessimistic views of life, anxiety, indecision, paralysis and depression. On the flipside, if joyous this tends to create an optimistic, easy going relationship with your life, reduces procrastination and enables your creativity to emerge. This workshop using the Taoist meditation methods of inner dissolving and the wisdom of the Yi Jing “Book of Changes” will give you ways to reduce the burden of change and release the joy of change within you.
Following the traditional way that Taoists learning meditation, this course will also include Qigong. Since inner dissolving is based on working with blocked subtle qi energy inside you, blended into the course will be sitting and moving qi gong methods that will increase your qi not only for health but also enable you to better access and resolve your inner blockages. Thereby enabling your inner dissolving practice to progress faster and be more effective.

Approximate daily course schedule on Oct 12 is 10:30AM-4:30PM with an hour and half lunch in between. Course schedule may be subject to change depending upon group dynamics.
