Heaven and Earth Qigong

July 13-17, 2020
Longmont, Colorado, USA

Heaven and Earth is one the most popular qigong sets in the Energy Arts System among both beginners and advanced practitioners alike. It fits an enormous amount of core content and health enhancing benefits into a relatively simple two-part movement. Heaven and Earth is easily practiced on the go, great for physical and energetic health and healing, and is one of the best ways to learn key skills that you can then incorporate into all of the other practices in our Energy Arts system.

If you are a tai chi practitioner, it is easier to first learn key tai chi physical and energetic skills within the simple, repetitive movements of Heaven and Earth, and then carry them into the practice of your form. The more advanced opening and closing skills learned in Heaven and Earth make it the perfect complement for taking your tai chi to the next level. To highlight the importance of this skill, when Master Frantzis was living in Beijing in the early eighties, the head instructor and teacher certifier at the Beijing Institute of Physical Education said, “Without opening and closing, there is no tai chi.”

Beginners who attend this week will solidly learn the foundation form work of Heaven and Earth, and those with experience will learn skills to greatly deepen their practice.

This event will also include regular Taoist meditation sessions with Master Frantzis.

The Golden Thread in Wu Style Tai Chi

July 20-31, 2020 (2 Weeks)
Longmont, Colorado, USA

From posture to posture, the internal energy is unbroken.”

This is one of the most central and profound statements of the Tai Chi Classics and points at a quality underpinning the entire study of Taoist tai chi, nei gong and meditation. Developing continuity at all levels of being is one of the crown jewels of Taoist energy arts. The study of the Golden Thread is focused on how to precisely and practically generate this continuity inside of you without breaks.

In this two-week course, Master Frantzis will lead attendees into the foundational practices as well as the deeper meanings of The Golden Thread. The gentle, small frame movements of Wu style tai chi encourage a practitioner to bring their mind more easily inside their body, making it a perfect container for learning deeper skills.

In addition to Golden Thread teachings with Master Frantzis, beginners will learn the physical movements and choreography of the Wu Style Short Form.

Current Wu style practitioners will be taught how to extend, refine and deepen their form work via the Wu Style Medium Form (this will include Long Form insights for those who already practice the Wu Style Long Form).

The Golden Thread in Taoist Meditation

August 3-7, 2020
Longmont, Colorado, USA

The meditation practices of the Taoist Water tradition extend back in an unbroken line to Lao Tzu, the author of the Tao Te Ching. These techniques can help you explore your human potential and unravel all manner of blockages inside of you.

The primary means of practice is Inner Dissolving, which can be employed to not only bring about peace and balance to your daily life, but also to resolve past conditionings and traumas. Master Frantzis will be teaching the principles of the Golden Thread within Inner Dissolving and other meditation practices.

For those with extensive experience with Inner Dissolving, Master Frantzis will also teach aspects of working with the psychic body.
