On the subject of practice...

B. K. Frantzis is the only teacher that I trust. My meager skill has saved me from harm more than once, and I can't abide teachers who expect adulation in return for vagueness. This man is for real, whether you like it or not, and treats his students like adults.

Bruce is the Real Deal!

I've been targeted with all sorts of on-line Tai-Chi and Qigong courses lately; some with really imaginative and absurd combination of names. Delving into their offerings reveals further distortion of not only familiar Tai-Chi and Qigong terms, but mainly calisthenics pretending to be Tai-Chi and outlandish health claims. Makes this practitioner really appreciate Bruce and his teachings. From time to time, Bruce shares his rich history. He needs no statement of credentials. His knowledge and ability to communicate speaks volumes to me and my students because it works! Beware of pretenders!

Circling Hands Component of Tai Chi for Beginners Program

When I enrolled in Tai Chi 4 Beginners, Circling Hands had not yet been added. After a week or two, it was. I found that, for me at least (4 + years doing various Energy Arts courses, 73 years old, lotsa athletic injuries), Circling Hands has made me more aware of energy flows and how to move more easily and gracefully. I also believe these exercises are profoundly therapeutic because they teach you how to safely, slowly stretch musclels, ligaments, and tendons, move your shoulders, massage your internal organs, feel you body as an integrated whole, from head to toe and from outside in.

Dragon-Tiger To The Rescue

Dear Bill and Friends,

I have just completed week 10, and this is my second testimonial this week!
For many years I have woken up during the night with troubled thoughts and feelings. My pattern has been to try to solve this on my own, and if that fails, to turn to prayer (Abba,Father) for comfort. Which is what I did today -- and then the impulse came to get up to do Dragon-Tiger qigong, which I did. And -- serenity returned.

I even wrote a poem about it -- see below

Thanks for the Dragon-Tiger online Course

Dear Bill and K and K ---

Thank you so much for bringing Dragon and Tiger online. Today is Week Ten for me and I am almost in tears -- I don't want it to end. I feel just like at the end of a seminar or retreat, when it's time to go home, but I want to stay.

But fortunately, it's all down-loaded, and I'll be able to practise with you anytime, and I hope to do just that.

Even after Week One I was feeling more qi -- my tai chi teacher noticed, although I had not said anything. I also feel more balanced and joyful and confident.

Paul Cavel's new book

"The Tai Chi Space: How to Move in Tai Chi and Qigong" should prove to be quite valuable to my students. The 42 Principles takes one directly beyond the "dance" of forms to a succinct understanding of why we learn and practice the forms. An amazing blueprint to direct the mind's quest for qi energy experience; an owner's manual for the body. All related via simple metaphors imagery and symbols. An extraordinary achievement; thanks Paul.

When the Student is Ready the Teacher Appears

I signed up intending to extend my basic knowledge of Qigong and Tai Chi. Within the first week I found myself in need of those shoulder rolls and loosening of fascia to soothe and help to heal an injury caused by distractedly stepping onto a treadmill. It was not moving. But somehow I lost my feet and found myself hanging on the arm of the machine and severely bruising my ribs. I actually felt them flex all the way back to my spine - a weird and frightening sensation.

Back & shoulder videos lessons render very quick results

Thank you Bruce. I experienced immediate pain relief beginning Level I - 3rd video. I advanced one a day, very slowly and ever since following the rule of 75% of the capacity has been practiced. Smart rule that can be applied to everything we do.

I also feel great doing the breathing routines along the day as I walk or drive, any moment along the day when I feel any stress. .

New Head, Neck, Shoulder Online Program

I have been practicing Qiqong (Dragon Tiger, 5 Keys, Energy Gates) as well as beginning Baqua and Breathing/Meditation for about 3 years, via DVDs, online courses and books. This is an excellent complement to all of these. Lately, partially because I broke the 70% rule practicing Bagua, I've had to take a step back and return to basics, specifically Dragon Tiger and 5 Keys. Practicing both of these as well as standing meditation/breathing. I've noticed that tight neck and shoulders has been an obstacle. The serendipitous launching of this program has been hugely beneficial.

Testimonials

Sometimes it can take a setback to wake you up to what is valuable and what isn't. I had been fighting an intense legal battle with devastating effects on my business and on my health. I had to face starting over again very late in life. I couldn't do much about the drain on my time and money; however, I could do something about the drain on my health. Thank God for qigong!
