Dragon & Tiger Qi Gong great for the novice & experienced practitioner alike.

I have been practicing internal arts for almost 3 decades so I'm not a novice to Qi Gong exercise. Always open to exploring other Qi Gong systems, I bought Bruce's Dragon & Tiger books (both volumes) and put them to use learning the form.

Things can get weird...

There's a whole lot of stories out there about the feats of masters that purportedly illustrate the power of internal practice. They can be chalked up to merchandising, if you are a skeptic, which I confess to being.
I would like to share some personal experiences that - were it not for the fact they happened to me personally, I would not believe they were real.

Excellent Course

A well presented and structured course.

The pace of learning was just right with the right attention to detail.

Another serendipitious finding

I am so happy to have discovered these beautiful people in Energy Arts. I discovered this site by luck and chance.
Now I know, I am destined to find Bruce and Paul, two great teachers and masters.
I am a meditator practicing meditations for a long time, almost a decade I should say. I was looking for something to strengthen my meditation, when I added yoga as a means to strengthen meditative practices. I also qualified and became a yoga instructor and teach yoga from time to time when I get free time. My eventual aim is to set up a center to teach yoga and facilitate meditations.

Fabulous Dragon and Tiger online course

A big thank you to Bill Ryan for creating this course. It is fabulous. Lots of content to revisit over and over again, so don't miss to download the videos. The course is well structured and Bill's knowledge of the subject and how to teach it to beginners is evident in each of the videos. His dry humor is a pleasure.

I did actually send a note to Bill Ryan , thanking him and his team for the course. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it and I have been practicing (not everyday I must admit). I am now positively addicted and want to learn more as well as move on to another level with D/T one day.
I mostly enjoyed the precision of this course. In my case ( I am only speaking for myself) all questions which arose, were answered by Bill at some point during the course. Whenever I had a query, all I had to do was to be attentive and the answer would arrive at some point like magic.

D&T Qigong onlin course testimonial

I am going into my 10th week of the course and I am so very happy I signed up for it. I have tried various things to find more balance, get more in touch with my own energy (and its source) but Dragon and Tiger finally feels right. I don't have to force myself to do my daily practice. On the contrary, I get cranky if I cannot do it .... I can feel how I feel better, not specifically, just in general. Still cannot feel Chi or maybe just glimpses of it, but I enjoy the practice and can feel how I am getting better, so I'm sure it will all come in its own time.

The Five Keys to Taoist Energy Arts

Today was day 2 practice session in week 8. I know that something is going on in my practices when I start to feel chills running through my body. Today I had the most powerful experiences to date. Mostly I feel these sensations along my spine but today I also experienced sensations in my head. I even felt tingling in my brain. I didn't only experience these sensations while practicing but I'm still experiencing them more than 12 hours after doing the practices. Two years ago I was hit by a car while crossing the street. I had broken bones in my right forearm.

The Real Deal

I have been learning/practicing/doing Qi Gong for about two years ago and also fooled around with some very basic Tai Chi movements via a Jerry Alan Johnson DVD. I started this whole adventure because i felt the need to move on from stuff like Navy Seal Fitness training (again via DVDs) to more movement and stretch-oriented stuff, partially because of knee, achilles tendon & lower back injuries. I also wanted to return to meditation practice, which I hadn't practiced for some time. I don't attend nor can I afford a school, so I learn mostly from DVDs.

As a psychiatrist working in a hospital I treat patients experiencing severe crises. This work can be very stressful at times.
