"The practices presented in 'TAO of Letting Go' bring to life the ancient teachings of the masters of the Tao.  As you explore the Personal Practice Sessions and the Author-guided Practice Sessions presented throughout the book or CD set, you may come to directly know the ancient wisdom, not as arcane teaching, but as your own present knowing."

Excerpt from the Tao of Letting Go:

Personal Practice Session I

Right now just try to take a good inhale and exhale while putting your attention on your hand. After a couple of breaths, see if you can breathe in and out of your hand. Can you get a feeling of whether oxygen is actually going in and out of your hand? Maybe you can feel something happening. Now try it in a few more places.

Take a nice deep inhale and see if you can breathe into your forehead. Notice that when you put your attention into your forehead as you breathe, your awareness suddenly expands. You become aware of more subtle feelings than if you were merely thinking about your forehead. Putting your awareness on a specific place in the body amplifies your physiology and the subtle energies inside you.

Because Dragon and Tiger Qigong is a simple and effective qigong practice, it is taught to students at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. Tracing the meridian lines helps our students to become more sensitive to both their own and their patients' chi and enables them to become better acupuncturists.
