SUMMARY:Feeling Beyond Your Finger Tips
DESCRIPTION:Daoist and Osteopathic Methods for Developing Perceptive Touch with Dr. Alexander Frantzis\nIn this four day workshop\, at the behest of Master Frantzis\, Dr Alex Frantzis will teach foundational principles shared between both osteopathy and Daoist qigong tui na. These principles will specifically enhance your ability for global palpation\, or feeling through the body at touch.\nThis course is appropriate for hands-on therapists and medical professionals\, as well as anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of healing touch.\nOne of the greatest skills a professional hands-on therapist can possess is using their touch to listen through the body and perceive areas with which they are not in direct physical contact.  Some individuals are born with an innate sensitivity that gives them this ability and are sometimes referred to as having “good hands.” \nYet this skill can also be taught and acquired through diligent practice. Anyone with a sincere desire to learn can cultivate the depth and subtlety of their touch to an incredible level. \nPractices to do this exist in both Eastern and Western healing modalities\, yet they are rarely taught outside of strictly professional or clinical settings. Even then\, an excellent teacher is required to fully communicate the essence of what to actually do and not just theory and jargon. \nIn the West\, Osteopaths have worked for generations to develop exceptional hands on sensitivity (palpation skill) as an essential cornerstone of their medical practice. This led to the creation of sophisticated healing techniques that frequently yield stunningly positive outcomes. Safely and effectively treating millions around the globe\, Osteopathic methods have stood the test of time. \nIn the East\, the “test of time” has been thousands of years as the Daoists refined the bodywork system known as qigong tui na through the millennia. Qigong tui na took perceptive touch and the ability to become subtly aware of the body to near unimaginable depths\, simultaneously creating a system for reliably transmitting this skill through the generations. \n \nWhat You Will Learn\nThis workshop will present an opportunity to learn foundational principles shared between both osteopathy and Daoist qigong tui na. These principles will specifically enhance your ability for global palpation\, or feeling through the body at touch. \nWe’ll also explore the relationship of qigong exercises and Daoist meditation to refining a perceptive touch. Qigong exercises which facilitate developing this sensitivity for both bodywork and other human interactions will comprise the majority of this course. \nThis workshop is intended to accelerate and level up the skills of bodywork professionals\, as well as simply increase the joy that a refined sense of touch can bring to your life and relationships. \nMaster Bruce Frantzis has invited Alex Frantzis to share this material with you\, and it will include Tui Na applications that have not been taught before due to its focus on Osteopathy. \n\nDr. Alexander Frantzis\nAlexander Frantzis D.O. is a board certified physician in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He teaches workshops on developing Osteopathic palpation and is an officer of the Post Graduate Institute of Osteopathy\, an organization dedicated to advanced osteopathic education. He has completed a formal acupuncture education and has also learned the Daoist internal arts from childhood as Master Bruce Frantzis’ son. \n\nLearn From Where You Are \nAN IN-DEPTH LEARNING AND MULTIMEDIA DIGITAL EXPERIENCE \nAttending online gives you access to LIVE teachings as well as RECORDINGS of every class. SUMMARY:Daoist Meditation in Tai Chi\, Qigong\, and Pushing Hands
DESCRIPTION:Dissolving Blockages Inside Yourself and Others\nwith Master Bruce Frantzis\nDaoist meditation can take many forms\, but a unique and central part of the Daoist Water Tradition is resolving physical and energetic blockages in the body through the process of dissolving. And this meditation is not simply done sitting\, but also standing\, with movement\, and while interacting with another person. And in more advanced practices you not only work with the energies inside your body to eventually release them but also do the same in others. We all have subtle energies\, so learning to both identify and then interact with them lets you understand them at a deeper level. Blockages can affect you mentally\, physically\, emotionally\, and beyond\, and are a necessary path to freedom and comfort in oneself and in the universe. \nIn this retreat\, Bruce will teach how to bring up and dissolve tensions and blockages inside the deepest part of your being. Each week will go further into the body and the mind\, allowing increasingly greater release. For In-Person participants\, special emphasis will be placed on using Push Hands to identify and eliminate contraction. This event will be the first time that Bruce is teaching a Tai Chi meditation practice in the context of interacting with another person. As many of you seasoned practitioners know\, Bruce has often stated the different methods Daoists used in practicing meditation: sitting\, standing\, lying down\, moving\, and interacting with another person. In this retreat you will learn the final and most complex piece. \nWhat You Will Learn\nThe topic of this course is meditation from various angle\, but each week we’ll be going deeper and deeper \nWeek 1\n\nLearn how to feel and recognize what you’re experiencing in body\, mind\, and your deeper energy channels\, as this is critical to meditation.\nLearn various Push Hands techniques and styles so they correlate to your inner awareness\, feeling\, and resolve what’s happening inside your body and mind (examples: traumas\, false confidence\, and anxiety among other blockages produce different results in terms of what’s happening deep inside you).\nGet how to make Push Hands relatively smooth within the confines of the guidelines and form of Push Hands. This will allow your movements\, mind\, and energetic flow to become smooth also\, aiding meditation.\n\nWeek 2\n\nLearn how to recognize what is blocked inside you and the differences between these blockages (examples: how do you recognize when you feel attacked? when you feel fearful?)\nRecognize and dissolve the deeper blocked things in your body and mind that Push Hands bring up.\n\nWeek 3\n\nLearn how to extend and project power within your body\, mind\, and the deeper energy channels without contracting emotionally or mentally within the confines of Push Hands.\n\n\nLessons will be communicated in the traditional way\, by teaching what is determined to be of greatest value to the students in the room. Course content is not conveyed in a rigid\, checklist fashion\, but rather flows spontaneously with what is emerging in the teaching and from those receiving it. What is listed above is a guideline and may change depending on those in the room. \nLearning from a Master\nBruce’s Teaching Style \n \nGreat for Beginners and Advanced Practitioners: \nThis is a unique opportunity for beginners to attend a comprehensive course focusing on several modes of meditation (e.g. sitting\, standing\, moving\, and partner practices). In this three week immersive retreat\, you will learn the basics of the Dissolving Method of Daoist Meditation. He will also provide instruction on Tai Chi Push Hands. If you do not know Tai Chi or Qigong you will be taught a simple exercise to use. \nFor more advanced practitioners\, you will learn deeper levels of the dissolving technique and how to apply it to your ongoing Tai Chi\, Qigong\, and Push Hands practice. Bruce will also dive into partner exercises in more depth than he does done before. \nPerfect Solo or with a Partner:\nSince this is a practice based on interacting with another person; couples\, partners\, families\, and friends may find great use and benefit from this event in attending together. However\, there are also benefits to coming without a dedicated practice partner. As is often stated\, the best way to fundamentally grasp the process of any internal art is to practice with many different partners of all types\, shapes\, and sizes\, so you feel and understand the differences between one person and another and how your energy changes in relation to different people. All of us are truly unique and individual\, and one of the best ways to actualize and embody this understanding is by engaging in internal art practices with others.  \nIn-Person Attendees Receive Additional Support\nIntellectual Understanding vs. Embodied Understanding\nThere can be an ocean of difference between understanding something conceptually and absorbing it as a felt reality in body\, energy\, and mind. Truly grasping this difference can transform your practice and multiply its benefit to your life. \nThis event will be focused on not only giving you a greater understanding of meditation within Tai Chi\, Qigong\, and Push Hands and the context of how to apply it\, but more importantly leading you into feeling the quality of mind necessary for these practices to take root within you. \nBruce and his instructors will be doing everything possible to give you the best opportunity to leave the course with the felt sensation of what you’re trying to accomplish in your own practice. Bruce’s teachings are transmission-based and offered in a consecrated space\, so in-person attendance is always recommended. \nYou will also receive:\n\nPersonal support from Certified Energy Arts Instructors who will be available each day.\nOptional group practices to solidify what you learn and take advantage of the group energy in our sealed space.\nRecordings of instruction for all WEEKEND CLASSES in your online Kajabi account. (As the weekday classes are an exclusive\, in-person-only option\, recordings will not be made available.)\n\n  \n\nCourse Schedule\nThis event is a complete 3 week package. When the online option becomes available\, it will only include the weekend teachings\, Saturdays and Sundays. \nBruce tailors his teachings to the students who attend in-person\, so in-person attendance is always recommended.  Since the focus of the practices taught during this 3 week course will involve interacting with another person to help each other find and dissolve blockages\, we’ve designed the course to follow a weekend and weekday structure. \n\nWeekends will be more focused on Tai Chi\, Qigong\, and seated meditation practices that can be done solo and are more accessible to online viewers or people unable to attend in-person. Weekends will be Saturdays and Sundays.\nWeekdays will focus more on using these practices in the context of Push Hands while interacting with another person. Weekdays will loosely be Mondays\, Tuesdays\, and Wednesdays with Thursdays and Fridays off to rest\, though Bruce may change this structure at his discretion based on the energy level and practice of the people in the room.\n\n  \nSchedule for In-Person Attendees at the Energy Arts Training Center:\nSaturday\, June 10th\, 2023\n9:00-9:45 am Registration/Check-in\n10:00 am-12:00 pm and 2:00-4:00 pm First Classes \nSaturday-Wednesday*\, June 10-28th\, 2022\n10:00 am-12:00 pm Morning Session\n2:00-4:00 pm Afternoon Session \n*Thursdays and Fridays will be off to rest\, though Bruce may change this structure at his discretion based on the energy level and practice of the people in the room. We will still aim to have the course’s end date be Wednesday\, June 28th to accommodate travel plans. \n\nCourse Fees\n\n$2\,497 or 3 Monthly Payments of $837\n\nThree Week In-Person Meditation in Tai Chi\, Qigong\, and Push Hands Retreat\n\n\n\nRegistration Closed\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Energy Arts Training Center Colorado\n\n\n\n\n\n\n1602 9th Avenue\nLongmont\, CO 80501\n\nSee map: Google Maps\n\nAccommodations:\nAir BnB \nParrish Ranch\nHotel Search Engine\nHip Camp\nDiscount at Marriot Hotels (Click for Link)\n\nAirport Transportation:\nEight Black Shuttle Service\nCar Rental Search Engine\nBus Line\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Recordings\nAll students will receive a digital recording of WEEKEND SESSIONS ONLY\, which you can watch and download at a time of your convenience by logging into your Kajabi account. Recordings will not be made available for the weekday classes of Master Frantzis’ Meditation Retreat as this is an exclusive\, in-person-only portion of the retreat\n \n\nDisclaimer\n\n\n\n\nDeep contemplation\, physical contact\, and the risk of injury and emotional stress are inherent in the practice of meditation\, movement\, martial and other arts taught by Energy Arts LLC\, Bruce Frantzis and/or his assistants\, certified instructors\, and their assistants. DESCRIPTION:SKIP TO REGISTRATION\nDistinguishing Relaxing and Releasing Your Qi: \nFan Sung (Relaxation) and Sung (Complete Release) in Tai Chi\nOnline and/or In-Person Options Available\nA Special Two-Weekend Event with Master Bruce Frantzis for Health\, Healing\, and Power Development: Suitable for All Levels\nWhat You Will Learn:\n“The most common word that people hear when learning Tai Chi\, even if they have been doing it for years\, is the mantra of relax\, relax\, relax. But in terms of what is in the founding documents of Tai Chi\, relaxation does not mean what it commonly does in the West\, which is about people’s emotional states. What is usually translated as relaxation in the Tai Chi Classics is the word “Sung\,” which has many implications including release: release of all bound tension in the body. This goes quite beyond ordinary relaxation. It is talking about the release of all tension right to your bones. This is a much deeper relaxation and releasing than most human beings are aware of and one which does not happen by accident. \nMany of the techniques within Tai Chi are taught by demonstrating them on another human being and saying\, “This is what it is.” Now although that may be what it is\, this method doesn’t tell you how you can train to acquire it. Watching a film does not teach you how to make a film. The focus of this workshop will not be so much on how well Bruce can do Sung\, it will be to teach you the process for which you can do it yourself and teach it to others\, and that is the difference between teaching and demonstrating. \nClassically\, learning what is called Sung in Tai Chi is learned through a basic 4 part process\, each one of which builds upon and is dependent upon the previous stages being stable. In all 4 stages\, you must consciously put your mind inside your body until you can recognize what your mind is contacting\, and by mental command alone\, you can cause your body to obey.” \n-Master Bruce Frantzis \nDetailed Breakdown by Weekend and Progressive Stages:\nThe beginning of stage 1 is to relax your body: relaxing your most surface muscles. Most people’s muscles are relatively hard and tense both naturally and from lifestyle\, especially in their arms. Because they’re tense\, they can’t move freely. Their natural movement with power is restricted. Most Western sports training has a specific goal of being in the process of toning the muscles\, making them tense. \nThis 1st stage is about relaxing those most outer muscles of your body: your abs\, triceps\, biceps\, quadriceps\, and all your other muscles so that if squeezed\, they become soft and move like you’re squeezing a teddy bear. After this is achieved\, this level of relaxation gives you access to what lies below your skin and those outer muscles: ligaments\, fascia\, tendons\, and eventually blood vessels. \nWeekend One\nStage 1\nThe beginning of stage 1 is to relax your body: relaxing your most surface muscles. \nStage 2\nThis stage is about connecting your soft tissues to the insertion points inside your bones. After relaxing the surface muscles of the body in Stage 1\, you find it becomes possible to feel what they’re connected to below your skin: ligaments\, fascia\, tendons\, and eventually bones. \nBefore you can release what is below your skin and its contents\, it requires that you are able to consciously put your mind inside any individual part of your body. As you begin to relax your ligaments\, tendons\, muscles\, and fascia\, beginning to stretch the body from the bone and your internal organs\, your arm (as an example) will begin to lengthen from your body. Meaning\, if you were only able to stretch your arms out to say 30 inches from your spine\, you could find your arms now going as much as 33-35 inches after achieving Fan Sung\, or relaxation\, and overcoming the inherent initial contractions inside the body. Any contraction is the opposite of relaxation. \nThis next step is releasing these soft tissues until you feel how they connect to and fit into the bones deeper\, larger parts of the body. At this point\, with the bending and extending of your limbs\, like stretching and releasing a rubber band\, the soft tissues stretch with a springiness in them\, which eventually gives you access to the qi inside your bones at a later stage. This is all part of the Neigong technique of lengthening. In and of itself\, this will engender a strong sense of ordinary relaxation due to reducing the normal congestion within people’s muscles.  \nThis is still relaxation\, or Fan Sung. This is accomplished in stages until you can create this relaxed\, springy soft tissue state throughout your entire body. In the process\, the contractions which prevent your body’s soft tissues from reaching their complete\, uncontracted (not relaxed) state loosen\, relax\, and are resolved. \nWeekend Two: Getting the Stabilized Structures to Become Fluid\nStage 3\n3rd Stage is again like stretching and releasing a rubber band\, though at a deeper level throughout the body: having the soft tissues of tendons\, ligaments\, and fascia do this with all the bones\, so they too become soft and springy and release the innate tension which makes the body not as stretched as it should be\, much as yoga postures do. \nThis bending and stretching of the soft tissues inside your body piece by piece starts releasing everything inside your body\, including your blood vessels\, so that more blood can flow through them both toward and away from the heart. By the time this is completed\, the inside of the body attains a felt sense of immense space and freedom. This is first done by focusing on specific areas of the body – not just the bones and spine\, but also the internal organs and other major structures in the body – until you can do this opening and closing with the entire body. \nNow\, you’re going to try to get your mind inside your body and not just relax\, but release any contraction inside the body: not just the spine\, arms\, etc. but everything. Even the blood vessels will relax and release\, so they operate at a submaximal level: operating by having the blood vessels have their maximum range of motion either releasing within or expanding outward without maximal effort or strain. \nThis 3rd stage is usually done while doing standing postures or forms of Qigong or Tai Chi. You can’t relax water\, but you can release it into steam. You have water in a pot. When boiled\, it turns to steam\, which then releases the steam from the water. This process is done systematically\, first with parts\, then eventually with the entirety of the body. Have your mind go through and contact everything inside your body\, so you can release it like steam. \nWhen you are able to truly start releasing what’s inside your body\, that’s when a human will recognize a few things: first\, the blood flowing through the body\, feeling it as tangible substance. Next thing concurrently\, a person will start to feel their Chi just Iike they feel their blood. To consciously move the chi is moving the blood and vice versa. \nStage 4\nYou are now going deep inside the body. Start opening up all the blood vessels in the body\, through which your chi is going to flow so not only can you feel physical tissues and blood but the process of feeling your chi begins. At the same time\, if you wish to go further\, what you’re doing with your body allows you to go in and out of your heart-mind (Hsin) releasing whatever is blocked on mental and spiritual levels. \nThe final stage of Sung is not just specific parts of the body\, but every part of the body and mind\, everything without exception\, again doing this through the mind. Contraction within the body or mind prevents the free flow of chi and vice versa. At this 4th Stage of Sung\, the entirety of the body will be fully relaxed and released simultaneously. \nAt the 5th Stage\, this total release will extend into the etheric body. If time and the capability of the people physically present in the room allows\, Bruce will go into the 5th Stage. \nGreat for Beginners and Advanced Practitioners: \nIf you are new to Tai Chi\, we will teach you an easy-to-learn simple form called Tai Chi Circling Hands which you will be able to use during the course. This will be taught in a preparation session with Senior Instructor Craig Barnes that will be available to watch online immediately after buying the course. \nFor those who know Tai Chi\, the emphasis of this course will be to apply the deeper form of relaxing\, within the Tai Chi form. \n\nCourse Schedule\nPreparation Course: Available Immediately After Purchase\nYou will be able to watch this preparation course in your online account once you register. \nFirst Weekend: March 11-12\, 2023: Recordings Available Immediately After Purchase\nRegistration/Check-in at the Energy Arts Training Center\, Longmont (in-person): \n\nSaturday\, March 11\, 2023\, 9:15-9:45 am MT\n\n\nClass schedule: \n\nSaturday\, March 11\, 2023\, 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 2:00-4:00 pm MT\nSunday\, March 12\, 2023\, 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 2:00-4:00 pm MT\n\nSecond Weekend: March 18-19\, 2023\nRegistration/Check-in at the Energy Arts Training Center\, Longmont (in-person): \n\nSaturday\, March 18\, 2023\, 9:15-9:45 am MT\n\n\nClass schedule: \n\nSaturday\, March 18\, 2023\, 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 2:00-4:00 pm MT\nSunday\, March 19\, 2023\, 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 2:00-4:00 pm MT\n\n\nReview and Practices with Senior Instructors Craig Barnes:\n\nTuesday\, March 14\, 10:00-10:45 am MT\nWednesday\, March 15\, 10:00-10:45 am MT\nThursday\, March 16\, 10:00-10:45 am MT\nMonday\, March 20\, 10:00-10:45 am MT\nTuesday\, March 21\, 10:00-10:45 am MT\n\n  \nMaster Bruce Frantzis\nBruce Frantzis is a recognized Daoist Lineage Master and the Founder of Energy Arts. SUMMARY:Daoist Breathing Retreat: Breath to Qi
DESCRIPTION:with Master Bruce Frantzis\nDaoist Longevity Breathing differs from most breathing methods as it requires slow\, smooth\, continuous and circular breathing that engages all parts of the lungs–without raising the chest. From the physical perspective\, there are six stages that allow a practitioner to systematically contact\, engage and open up the lungs. This process naturally massages the internal organs\, and increases blood flow and the volume of air that can be inhaled with each breath. This increased breathing capacity can dramatically raise the quantity of oxygen in the blood\, which improves both function and performance of body and mind. \nWhat You Will Learn\nThe first phase of this retreat focuses on building the six-part breathing sequence to: \n\nMaximize potential health benefits\nClear and release the nerves\nDevelop a deep sense of letting go or profound relaxation.\n\nDuring this instruction\, Bruce will lay the foundation\, through instruction and transmissions\, to help you move into the “Breath to Qi” phase of the course. It is essential that all students participate in this tuning in and activation phase in order to allow time to absorb the transmissions and have a chance at crossing over from breathing to moving qi. \nBreathing to Contact\, Feel\, Manipulate and Directly Experience Qi\nThis “breath to qi” phase can have a profound and positive effect on health\, dramatically increases awareness and gives the ability to advance all other qi practices for anyone who achieves this level of practice. As these teachings are transmission-based\, they have traditionally been held back only for inner-door students and disciples. However\, Master Frantzis will openly share this rare and profound practice with all who wish to participate. \n  \nAttend for Two Weeks or All Three Weeks\nTo attend the retreat for all three weeks\, you must participate at the Energy Arts Training Center in Longmont\, Colorado. Bruce will permit online students to attend the first two weeks of the retreat\, Sunday\, July 24 to Thursday or Friday\, August 4-5.* \nFirst Two Weeks: All Students Welcome (In-Person or Online)\nWhat you will learn: \n\nThe six-part breathing sequence.\nMethods for yielding various health benefits.\nHow to use breathing to contact and move qi in your body.\nThe beginning phase of “breath to qi.”\n\n(45 hours training minimum) \nThree-Week Retreat: All Students Welcome (In-Person Only)\nWhat you will learn: \n\nEverything above.\nDeeper internal qi techniques.\nHow to complete the process of “breath to qi.”\n\n(67 hours training minimum) \n* Whether you attend for two or three weeks\, this is a deep internal-energetic process in which you will be engaging. Therefore\, Bruce requires attendees to complete certain aspects of energy practices before leaving the course. He will attempt to arrive at the exit point for students who are only participating for the first two weeks on Thursday\, August 4\, but he might need an additional day. In this case\, the first phase of the retreat will end on Friday\, August 5. Please book travel and make arrangements to allow space for completing the training as late as the Friday afternoon session. \nIn-Person Attendees Receive Additional Support\nBruce’s teachings are transmission-based and offered in a consecrated space\, so in-person attendance is always recommended. \nYou will also receive:\n\nPersonal support from Certified Energy Arts Instructors who will be available each day.\nOptional morning and evening group practices to solidify what you learn and take advantage of the group energy in our sealed space.\nThe opportunity to attend all Energy Arts Live Classes and Guided Practices during the retreat.\nRecordings of retreat instruction for the first two weeks in your online Kajabi account. (As the third and final week is an exclusive\, in-person-only course\, recordings will not be made available.)\n\n  \n\nCourse Schedule\nBruce tailors his teachings to the students who attend in-person\, so in-person attendance is always recommended. New and existing students are welcome to participate in-person (for two weeks or all three weeks) or online (for the first two weeks only). The second week will end on Thursday\, August 4 or Friday\, August 5\, depending on how much time Bruce requires to complete the process properly. The third week will commence on Monday morning\, August 8; if you are checking in\, registration is open 9:00-9:45 am. Please be sure to arrive while registration is open in order to be admitted into the class. \nAlthough not recommended\, you may attend the first two weeks online (July 24-August 4/5) and the final and third week in person (starting on August 8). As Bruce is taking students through a process\, you must agree to follow the course in real time and have worked through all the previous lessons over the previous two weeks in order to be admitted to the in-person course. \nAll Students\nSaturdays off. Additional days off will be given as they are in the flow of the training process and will be determined by Bruce. \nSchedule for In-Person Attendees at the Dao Guan:\nSunday\, July 24\, 2022\n2:00-2:45 pm Registration/Check-in\n3:00-5:30 pm First Class \nMonday-Friday\, July 25-Friday\, August 12\, 2022\n10:30 am-1:30 pm Morning Session\n3:30-5:30 pm Afternoon Session \nSchedule for Live-Streaming/Online Attendees:\nSunday\, July 24\, 2022\n3:00-5:30 pm First Class \nMonday\, July 25 to Friday\, August 5\, 2022 (Saturdays and Sundays off)\n10:30 am-1:30 pm Morning Session\n3:30-5:30 pm Afternoon Session \nThe end date of the course will be on Thursday\, August 4 or Friday\, August 5. Now they are sharing their knowledge with fellow EA Instructors. This will allow Master Frantzis to begin turning his attention toward the Lineage Track of study. \nFirst-Time Instructors\nIf this is your first Instructor Training with our school\, you will be required to: \n\nPractice for six months following the retreat.\nTeach 10 hours of Foundational Qigong\, which can be done with family and friends\, or in the form of private training or public classes.\nAttend a “check in” online or in person with one of the Senior Instructor Certifiers to discuss your practice and teaching experience\, and to retest in order to ensure that you have remained “on track.”\n\nExisting Energy Arts Instructors\nExisting EA Instructors will receive their certification upon successfully passing the test at the end of the course. \nAnyone who does not pass or achieves a lower level than they had hoped for can schedule a retest at any point in the future (subject to availability)\, as long as they continue practicing and feel they have sufficiently improved. \nInstructor Upgrade Track\nThis aspect of the training has been designed to support existing EA Instructors in both their practice and their teaching. This is a great opportunity for existing instructors to receive personal feedback and input on their Dragon and Tiger\, Energy Gates and Heaven and Earth Qigong forms. We will train together to correct bad habits\, and improve and refine your forms. The Senior Instructors will work closely with you\, and you will have the chance to work with other Certified Energy Arts Instructors to help each other develop. \nThe Senior Instructors will also help decipher the new eight-level curriculum\, so that attendees understand the levels and can attain the highest possible level for their recertification test(s). All Instructors in attendance will be re-certified free of charge into the new eight-level system for any Dragon and Tiger\, Energy Gates or Heaven and Earth Qigong certifications they hold. \nYou must be an existing Energy Arts Instructor to participate in this aspect of the training. \nPreparation for Master B.K. Frantzis’ Daoist Breathing Retreat\nAll students\, including those who are attending Master Frantzis’ three-week Taoist Breathing retreat\, will receive daily instruction in and practice the Taoist Breathing\, six-part sequence. This will help prepare students for Master Frantzis’ teachings\, and give them the best chance of attaining “Breath to Qi.” \n\nCourse Schedule\nNew and existing students are welcome to participate in-person or online. In order to become certified in Foundational Qigong\, you must attend in-person. If you want to learn the material for yourself\, you may attend in-person or online. In-person attendance is always recommended as a superior method of learning. \nSchedule for In-Person Attendees at the Dao Guan:\nSunday\, July 17\, 2022\n2:00-2:45 pm Registration/Check-in\n3:00-5:30 pm Introduction and Assessment \nMonday-Friday\, July 18-22\, 2022\n9:00-9:45 am Daoist Breathing\n10:30 am-1:00 pm Foundational Qigong Instruction\n3:00-4:30 pm How to Teach and Hands-on Feedback (Instructors and Instructor Prospects) \nSaturday\, July 23\, 2022\n9:00-9:45 am Daoist Breathing\n10:30 am-1:00 pm Foundational Qigong Instruction \n18 course hours for retreat participants (minimum)\n28 course hours for instructor prospects (minimum)\n(Plus additional group practices will be required for Foundational Qigong Instructor Certification.) \nSchedule for Live Streaming/Online Attendees:\nMonday\, July 18 to Saturday\, July 23\, 2022\n9:00-9:45 am Daoist Breathing\n10:30-1:00 pm Foundational Qigong Instruction \n18 course hours (minimum) \n  \n\n\nCourse Fees\n\nEasy Pay Option!
