AnonymousGuestI feel like I may not be doing the tapping of the diaphragm correctly. I can feel where my diaphragm is but tapping it does not seem to be doing anything for me…..I dont feel anything out of the ordinary when Im tapping. I also find that I can feel it moving without tapping and the tapping is a bit distracting.
Can anyone speculate as to what I may be doing wrong?August 8, 2011 at 7:18 pm #131337
AnonymousGuest…….from my perspective the tapping is largely to help focus awareness/attentiveness/sensitivity in the respective anatomical area, it’s not about right and wrong, it’s about feeling what is actually happening – if your diaphagm is relatively free moving without discomfort (‘ordinary’!) and you can readily feel whats going on, i.e., you’re not numb to sensation in the area – then what else might you expect to feel? Over time you may become more sensitive to more subtle layers and levels of sensation, are you expecting to feel something ‘extra-ordinary’?

AnonymousGuestThanks Colin,
When I tap I cant honestly say that I can distinctly feel my diaphragm but I can sense where it is as it moves up and down without touching it. When I tap the area it just feel like a plain old tap on my belly.
It sounds like I may be alone on this one. Nonetheless, I will keep it up. Your comments are much appreciated.August 9, 2011 at 6:44 am #131339
