AnonymousGuestHi everyone,
In movement 3, do you turn the waist and foot and THEN shift the weight or do you shift weight while turning?
If you turn THEN shift weight, what hand movements correspond to what part of the movement?
Very excited….

AnonymousGuestHey Guy,
From Lesson 13, I took the first part to be An where you shift forward and turn simultaneously, which makes it easier to do Peng with the right arm as you do “reverse rotation” in the waist.
Is that what you saw as well?

AnonymousGuestHi Dan
Yes, just before the “reverse rotation” to Peng: the first turning motion of the form basically, when you bring the hand across and down to block. So the weight is on the right leg, and you turn the left foot. Now, do you turn the foot fully while it is empty, and then shift weight, or not? And if you do, then what are the hands doing?
You know what, this could get very complicated describing these questions in words. Is it possible to get some sort of video conferencing going on, maybe through skype or something? Would save a lot of hassle…

AnonymousGuestHi Guy,
I think, in Lesson 13 anyway, that Bruce is showing shift on to the left leg and turn at the same time while you do An, condensing, pushing downward with the arm.
I know it’s tough to discuss this way.
