Is it normal when I go through the complete form that the ending point is not the same as the starting point was? I end always about 50cm to 1m in front of my starting point. I was used from the Cheng man ching form to end up where I have started, so I can immediately start a second round. With the Wu-Short this seems impossible (at least if you have not enough space because you are moving forward with every repetition) I have tried to adjust my steps according to my need but that also didn´t work. Is this normal or do I make a mistake somewhere?
This is normal. Wu style in particular, seems to me, to be more about internal integrity/harmony/wholeness then it is about some external choreography. How the various movements manifest will vary from one individual to another.
