AnonymousGuestHi, Paul,
I am finding this course very helpful and am grateful for your very specific and knowledgeable instruction.
Regarding the breathing exercise, is the exhalation done sequentially like the inhalation, or do all areas – belly, sides, kidney, back, sides of lungs – release at the same time? If sequentially, does the exhale occur in the same sequence as the inhale (belly first, lungs last) or in reverse sequence? I’ve been exhaling sequentially, in the same order as the inhale.
Thank you for your response.

AnonymousGuestHi Marcia, No, I’m glad you asked. The sequential building of the breath is to ensure that all parts of your lungs are inflated and the pressures from the inhalation massage the entire internal organ base. The exhale is more about releasing the nervous system and therefore eveything releases simultaneously during the out-breath.

AnonymousGuestThank you for your reply, Paul, and thank you especially for explaining the reason for exhaling from all areas at the same time. I really like to understand the rationale behind what we do and am therefore very appreciative of the specificity with which you teach.
