I am a practicant fo ChiGong since more than twenty years, I was thinking to start Tai Chi as well, but I am quite confused about the similarities and the differences. I my sself find many movements are very similar, specially if you cut them into pieces, but if they are so similar, why do they have, as I think diefferent results, or in otherwords, if we call the Chi which is pure energy is the one which results after long training of Tai Chi, we are going to get the same result in Chi Gong, but in Chi Gong I think the energy is much bigger, although while training Tai Chi you are practicing the movements comlete and not as small parts. From my experience in Chi Gong, I find it takes, may be the same time to find the energy inside the body, but the diference is the amount of energy what comes out of the Chi Gong.
