The Receptive

If you read my last post, I proposed that Chien, the creative, Heaven, the Single Palm change is about the expansive yang energy. You’ve probably heard this before. I know I have. I didn’t understand it, but I had heard it many times. I’ve only met one person that I believe fully understands what that means.

I could argue that if you can’t use this expansive energy at will, you haven’t done a single day of Bagua practice. That may be an extreme position but that’s what puts the energy in the EnergyArts.

Kun, the receptive, Earth, the Double Palm change requires some level of mastery of the Single Palm change. Without it, you can’t do the Double Palm change. You have to be able to create the expansion in every point in your entire etheric field (inside and outside the physical body).

So, what’s happening?

The receptive implies that you have to receive something. Without the yang expansive energy, there isn’t anything to receive. All of the points throughout the field expand and begin to “bump” into all of the other expansions. The palms are just two easy, sensitive places where you can experience and feel this interaction.

“It [Double Palm change] focuses on using the two palms together, coordinating them until they are as one, and moving and changing the quality of energy between them with fluidity and power.”

The interaction is like a resonant frequency or harmonic. So you can feel the quality of this energy and it is different and distinct from the energy of Heaven. In aggregate, it begins to have a binding quality. It also wakes up everything. The entire field becomes accessible to your consciousness.

IMO, you have to find Chien first. Don’t waste a second of your time trying to understand any other trigram or energy. Just concentrate of finding how Bruce creates this expansive energy from his core to the edge of the etheric field. The Bagua Mastery program plus everything else that Bruce has taught has all of the instruction you need to find it. If you do the Receptive will naturally follow.
