Hi folks,
I noticed something whil training the Single Hand Peng repeatetly: This is one-sided.
When I learned Tai Chi for the first time, our teacher did introduce new movements for both sides and had us practice them equally before integrating them into the form.
When we had finished learning a form, he also gave us a homework: Figure out the mirrored version of the form on our own. He emphasised that we hat to train both sides equally to avoid assymetric development.
So, my question is, should we practice the Single Hand Peng on both sides? Did Bruce say anything on this topic? Whats your experience?
Thanks,
Markus
