    Dear all,

I would like to share an experience and seeking for advice on the struggling issue.

According to my knowledge, the general practice of doing Qi Gong is usually at mid night before sleep, indeed never work out on the day time. But I mistakenly practiced it wrongly continuously all the time without resting. And it eventually became to be a habit of the Qi inside body moving out of control and getting fierce by the time. I couldn’t slow it down or even stop it moving by myself. So I would appreciated greatly if some of anyone could give me any advices on fixing this issue. I would provide materialistic rewards and appreciation for any effective help.

Thank you and looking forward to hear from you.

Hello Cyrus, best wishes to you- seems you have experienced something (some have trouble getting it moving, and then the question of how to stop, or at least rein-it-in… )
perhaps an issue of how that ‘chi-movement’ is integrated with one’s self.. is it part -of-you, and aspect of yourself, that is moving? or something else moving in you?- in your experience, thus it is disassociated, as it is part of you.. just whether it is part of your organization..
Not sure if that might add something…
I just wrote another post/comment in the Taoist Meditation forum-section (re Body-movements ) which I think might be of interest/value?

It depends upon what context/system you are practicing/learned in… to make coherence of your practicing… -some system-traditions indicate times/places/methods to practice… the way I learned, as Bruce has taught, I haven’t seen midnight being the only time to practice… and doing it at a “subliminal level” (not auto-doing it, but sort of like how breathe, or sighing/relax/release… or postural balancing- once one learns how to do one of those slightly-differently, than you start to do all ongoing.. but it is “under-control” to the degree it is part of you, in the same way that a new way of breathing, doesn’t feel like you are on a breathalator being pumped.. but that you are doing the breathing… qi, or rather first fluid, even nerve charge, flow can feel this way- part of your-system, vs it going “on-its-own”..

-with the above, and the other posting, regarding the Turbulence of river-flow… rather than “white-water-froth” shifting the “river-bed” to not churn it, and thus allow the energy to flow more (less disturbed)..
(and perhaps else you might find in other comments, on this forum.. other topics I think could relate-illume your question…

luck in your practice- let us know what you’ve found/developed in this (gradually you ‘can’ adjust your practice, and your system’s-state, to integrate this current situation) -cheers
