Trigrams are not about the Taoist Bodies

At the water palm seminar, Bruce said the energies of the trigrams were NOT about the eight bodies: physical, etheric, emotional, etc. This surprised me and forced me to revisit the energies from a different perspective. This is one of the organizations I liked.

Heaven is single minded expansiveness. Earth is the binding or interplay of Heaven that produces manifestation. In its most fundamental state, it is the interaction of two expansions. Wind is the interplay of two yangs that wakes up the central channel in the bone marrow. The expansion begins intersecting with the central channel. The interplay is more demanding, intricate and complex. Thunder is rapid change or swirling winds. Both sides are crossing to the opposite side channels. The cross currents pass through the central channel and interact with the opposite side. They build up the flow in the central channel like tributaries flowing into a great river. The resonance creates interference patterns that shake all. Fire is like Wind but the expansion is both inside and out. Fire wakes up the core channel that is present at every point inside and outside the body. The expansion wakes up the psychic channels that connect the inside and out. Water is the Heaven inside manifestation, the place where yin and yang coexist. All of the previous flows are simultaneously present. It requires a very stable mind to perceive it. Mountain is utmost stability and the beginning of emptiness. It implies the cycle of rain falling on mountains, flowing and collecting in lakes, and evaporating to begin the cycle again. Like Heaven when it is seen in its entirety it can appear equally as nothing and everything. The yang cycle is complete and will begin to change to its opposite in Lake. Lake is the reflection of Heaven in water, consciousness seeing itself, and it smiles for having perceived the game.
