AnonymousGuestHello everyone on EA. I am posting today as a practitioner and fellow healer in training. I need some advice on a situation that has happened recently, and some clearing of confusion if it is possible. The situation is complicated, but at the core is a question that I need to ask to get tho the heart of it.
Is it possible, through the simple practice of the “laying on of hands” to someone in a low energy state to cause damage to the energy system if the person administering the healing is in a higher state of energy/emotionally highly charged. No intent existed other than to simply want to help an individual whom was in need, no harm was every intended in the process. Could such possible “damage” be enough to cause about 2 months or more where the person is incapable of even doing simple household tasks at times and yet at others seems to function completely normal?
Said injured individual is under the belief that they are unable to move and need to sit for long periods of time to “repair the damage” with so called “psychic surgeries” by “spirits” or “entities” that are working on them? (I hate to say it, but I hold that situation as highly questionable as to if it is true and suspect a degree of mental psychosis may be involved.)
The situation is more complex than this, but this the essence of what happened. Any insight would be appreciated. Indicators however, are that this individual who is supposedly “injured” had shown signs of something being off long before the healing accident took place, and it is more likely that the incident simply acted as a “catalyst” to knock something out of place and cause a cascade effect. In other words the incident itself was not actually caused the damage, it simply nudged something that would have given at any time provided the right circumstances. What happened could be said to be a “perfect storm” for such a thing to take place, but that it was only a matter of time until something happened.
thank you for anyone whom provides insight into this matter.

AnonymousGuestAs always, what I describe is my subjective experiences, and I maybe they are a useful perspective, but do not take me as an authority, which I am not.
It is a bit vague what you speak of high and low energy states, but I witnessed something like.
As I said in other topics before, I have been trained in non-asian energetic traditions. During that time, there was an incident. A young woman who came back from her initiation was reminded of the rules for initiates. She was the youngest person so far that had managed to get through the full initiation process, which will trigger enormous rises in energy levels. So she had a lot of skill, far beyond mine even now.
But: She neglected one of the rules. Initiates are not allowed to have sex during the process and at least 7 days thereafter. Better 21. When she came home, she had sex with her boyfriend, who had no training whatsoever. He suffered a psychosis, and for years afterward he had recurring problems with depression. It was clear and easy for everyone who was sensitive to energy flows, that his psychosis was triggered by the connection of these extremely differing energy levels.
Any seed has to find fertile ground to grow, and we found out that he had some latent problems – but the trigger was the energy.
But we could not really help him – he had to heal this problem mainly on his own.
That is why I rarely use energetic healing practices on untrained people, and why I have never taught any high level practice, no matter whether from Qi Gong or elsewhere. I want to make sure, that whenever it involves other people, everything stays under control.
In short: Yes, in my opinion this healing might have triggered a latent psychosis.

AnonymousGuestThank you for your reply Markus,
It has been some time since this incident happened and in that time, not much else has happened. The decision was made to simply give the person involved some space and time, as if anything would heal the problem it would be those very things.
In this situation, the high and low energy levels were simply a high excitement of an emotional nature, and a low level of someone being very tired, mentally and physically it would appear. Whatever the case, none of the parties involved had any training beyond the most basic things, and not much at that.
Thank you for sharing the experience you knew about the young woman and her boyfriend, and what happened to him. It is good to know that this can happen, but between two minimally trained people? I feel that it would not be likely. Interestingly enough, I have come across the “no sex” rule before, and always it applies to high level practices at points where one would be going through an “initiation” so the fact that you mention that was interesting to hear confirmed by someone else.
Reflecting on the situation I mentioned, I have determined that any type of “injury” was simply triggered not by the “laying on of hands” but more likely just the very situation itself. No one is of particular to be blamed, it was simply the “perfect storm” that probably tipped the balance and caused a cascade effect. In short, there was something there and the situation triggered it.
I do have one more question, if you have time to answer it. Can someone with little to no training have a raw “power” that is pre existing and supposedly grown into? I personally do not believe this, as I think it takes a great deal of training from the right traditions for any kid of real “power” to develop. That is just my opinion, but I wanted to ask.
Thanks for your time.
