AnonymousGuestHi Paul, Long time no see, I hope all is well with you. I’m finding a lot of value in the 5 keys program and really enjoying learning it with a friend, so thanks. On week 3, the Brucey bonus went into lying down and breathing to release any tense holding of the coccyx and sacrum before heading towards kidneys. I’m find it quite tricky to prevent pressure going below dandien, so trying to get the breath to assist in opening the sacrum area without breathing below the dandien is currently seeming impossible. Is there any clarification you can bring to this?
Many thanks,
Chad

AnonymousGuestHi Chad, Yeah it’s been awhile.
Re – breathing to target the coccyx and sacrum
without causing pressure below the lower tantien: from my experience, I achieve
this through the use of the back of my diaphragm, which connects to the front
of the lumbar spine. So as the pressure wave descends down the back of the
diaphragm (from the in-breath), it runs down through the lumbar spine and
continues on to the sacrum and coccyx. This way there is no need to put pressure
through the internal organs below the lower tantien. It’s a matter of the mind figuring out how to guide
the pressure wave into the spine and down. You should be able to achieve this
with a little bit of training.November 10, 2015 at 9:58 pm #135439
