Hello my name is Simon and i am a kenisiotherapist and a student in the medical university of Sofia Bulgaria.
In the country im currently living there are no E.A instructors so i would like to ask here :

I want to begin a serious practice of Qigong and i am between Energy gates and Dragon and Tiger. These 2 sets seem to be good for beginners.
Please i need you assistance to choose between them.

Here is a part of my health status , it might help you to advice me : I have scoliosis, atopic rhinits that makes breathing difficult from nose, and severe teeth grinding during sleeping time.

    Thank you.

    Hello Simon,
My understanding as a total beginner myself is that Dragon & Tiger would be the more natural one to start with as it is the easier one and the one that yields the most effects with lesser effort or skillfulness.

I would recommend the 5 keys online course here:
    http://www.energyarts.com/five-keys-taoist-energy-arts-10-week-online-program

Without a teacher the dragon and tiger online course is also great but it is not available at the moment as far as i can see. Also the 5 keys course has the beginner stuff from energy gates and dragon tiger in it so no need to choose between the two. Also the standing practise in the 5 keys course may be what helps you to sart to really relax physically which could well solve your teeth grinding which afaik is just tension.

Then when the complete dragon and tiger online course comes back on offer you could move on to that.. then after that move onto the energygate online course.. This would be a progression that makes sense but also hopefully by that time you will have some opportunity to meet a teacher in person.

All the best, there really are some fantastic courses here, very structured and effective if you work through them practically step by step.

Get the Dragon & Tiger video, it is very good, very effective, and interesting. This will allow you to make fast progress. Later you can buy the 2nd book with advanced energy refinements.

For Rhinitis I would get a neti pot and use it twice a day with sea salt.

For scoliosis I would do yoga or tao yin.
