Hello snowtiger.. I think I can relate to the concern you seem to reference (perhaps it is just developmental-stage, perhaps it is “off-track.. perhaps discovering/sensing some underlying tension that has been there all along, and is still- but goes numb?).. in other words, I salute you seeking input on your question (that book changed my exper when I found, so long ago)..

Anyways, below some thoughts- but of course just from what you wrote is not really possible to be relevant, as not knowing you (and the “how one is doing” most of all added tension- and ‘adding- as practice. many as they “stand” actually do so in such a way that is can constrict diaphram, as well if “let go internal holding” to gravity, that transitioning (so that the internal-torso connections take up the anti-grav support.. can feel like pressure, as new “muscles”– invol/postural… just as any training affect =soreness)

So the issue being, do you need tweak something in how you are doing it- either short-term as devel or overall off-track.. or perhaps this reveals some underlying weakness .. hard to say from distance/no-info… so I’d recommend.. -any Opening Egates Certified in your area? (if a class, a private, or even at an event, and just have them give fdbk in how you stand, what ‘exactly’ you’re doing/how..)

–not sure if any in your town, but even if some travel- that’s what I’d recommend..

    (for reference: http://www.energyarts.com/instructors )
There were some other threads on this website-forum regarding getting fdbk..

anyway- I hope some of the above might help- if any of that adjusts what you find, or refine what you were asking/what you were asking.. perhaps might be able to give more helpful comment. -luck
