I’m a total beginner to Bagua. I never considered training in it, but when the opportunity to join the BMP appeared I decided to give it a shot. So far I only had 4 sessions, but I’m already totally blown away by it!

At the moment my practice is 5 minutes of Warm Up 1 10-20 minutes of walking. I’m still walking very slowly, but I already started to notice very surprising benefits. First of all I feel happy and uplifted at the end of my practice. I also started to experience strong chi in my whole body, but particularly in my lower legs and feet. I already feel much stronger. I’ve never done anything so powerful before. It’s quite mind blowing considering I just did it few times. I think I’m already hooked ;)

I found it reasonably easy to follow the instructions for Warm Up 1 and 3 step mud walking, thanks perhaps to my previous training in other somatic practices. My pro-prioception is reasonably tuned. However, there is also stuff there that looks more tricky, i.e. twisting. I’ll definitely need one to one help with this. So, I’m pleased to be able to benefit from some of BPM content on my own, but I understand that I’ll also need to work with qualified instructors. I look forward to attending my first Bagua class here in London on Monday.

I’m wondering how many people who are totally new to Bagua have joined in? It would be great to hear your impressions!

    Best wishes
    Jacek
