AnonymousGuestWhat is Chi?
January 29, 2016 at 5:28 pm #135574
AnonymousGuestAn approach to responding to your comment-question depends upon how you mean it… -is it a surface gloss, or a deeper inquiry?
(if the later, than you might refer to a post I made about Mastery.. and consider that steps and depth that might imply. vs it being just looking for a response to the keyword.)
In other words- watch these clips [by the scientist known for his quoting of the shining-one, from the (Bhagavad) Gita ]..
Feynman – explanation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMFPe-DwULM
further in that… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdA-l_Lnp2E
=======
Not to imply chi is eletro-mag, or moreso literally magnetics (though some might see only that, refer to my beginning comment),.. but the issue of What is the question really about (ala Prof. Feynman’s commentary on context)… but then again, per the EM relation to grav and photon-electron relation of his QED (Qtm Electro-Dyn) theory… and the basis of blding-blocks… who knows…

AnonymousGuestChi or Vital Force is the first manifestation of your being inside this universe and comes before consciousness or the physical body.
Of course most people live in their heads, so if you ask a normal person how they experience life, they will recite for you what they saw on TV and what they were educated to believe.
They do not even feel (emotions) very much.
They do not feel their bodies very much, these days. However it is possible to live feeling your emotions fully, and feeling your body fully. And if you go deeper you feel your vital force fully as well.
If you choose to.
Or you can stick with a meat and potatoes life.

AnonymousGuestVery well say and very precise. I read over it two three times to get what you mean.
I will say the consciousness or spirit is our original real self and in order to manifest in the low energy physical world we take on a covering or a chi body and then we get more gross by finally taking on this physical body which is make up of stuff like meat and potatoes.
This gives us a perspective as to what is chi.
Sadly our consciousness only recognise the physical body and is mostly unaware of the chi existence, not to mention that it is hopelessly unaware of its real self which is too ‘fine’ or subtle and powerful to manifest in the gross physical world.
Our physical body covers up our subtle body and real self. We become entranced by the body and our consciousness is stuck on the body and the world and will refuse to stop thinking of the physical and thus give it a chance to turn inward to realise or experience its real self.
Meditation is our means to work towards experiencing what it is all about.
This is one way of understanding chi.A more universal perspective.August 16, 2016 at 4:59 pm #135577
AnonymousGuestBriefly I would say Chi or qi is the life force or the energy source of the physical environment that determines health and life depending on the flow.
Chi is invisible but can be seen by some it is said, it can be felt and experienced by many.
When it is present there is life, when it flows strongly there is health.
Like a newly developed leaf on a tree in spring time, a vibrant perfectly healthy glowing green leaf , may suggest excellent life force, or vibrant chi
Some may describe it as energy, the energy field that surrounds the body, and that within the body. Also possible to feel, experience, see and measure / record the energy, like Chi
But that’s would be my own interpretation and understanding of what Chi is. And no doubt there are many descriptions about what chi is, any of which may be true depending how each person describes their experience and understanding of it.
Perhaps ask yourself the question, what would you describe?.
