AnonymousGuestI’m at a crossroad. Most of my posts have been on relatively advanced topics and aren’t that helpful to beginners. I’m considering beginning a series of commentaries on each video in the BMP.
The goal would be to distill the videos down to their most basic points, highlight what is important, what’s just informational, and to begin unraveling the material so beginners can understand what needs to be learned earlier versus what comes later. I’d use a strict naming convention so you could search for my commentaries on any video. Something like Mod01_Vid01 JL Commentary.
Would anyone be interested? Do you think this could be helpful?

AnonymousGuestOf course it would be helpful. We all have different points of reference even if we have been practicing other systems nothing compares to the BMP. Any input from step one on to lay the foundation would be good.
Your posts have been very illuminating thus far.February 12, 2017 at 8:38 pm #136158
AnonymousGuestOh my gosh!
Sure it would be helpful,
but it would be a monumental task.If you’re going to do this,
why not just write a book?I forget whether you also subscribe to the Tai Chi Mastery Course.
There Bruce incorporated one of the 10 Tai Chi principles of (Fu Man Chu?) into every movement. You could incorporate one of the 16 Neigong into each Session.

AnonymousGuestI’ve considered writing a book, but the problem is the material hasn’t settled yet: new ideas and insights are still coming to me at a frenetic pace.
I’ve also considered setting up a post for requests. So, I could create a post where anyone can ask for commentary on a video that they are working on and then I’d create a post for it. This has the advantage of trying to be an aide to your immediate practice.
I’d simply post using the strict naming convention so anyone could search for posts on a particular video and find it quickly if it exists.
Either way I’ll benefit from going back and reviewing material from my current perspective.
More thoughts?
