    Hi.

I have been following Bruce books, videos and articles since I started training QiGong, TaiChi and other martial arts, almost ten years now since then.

I have been practicing dissolving for years as an occasional technique but until a year and a half I did not started to make a disciplined habit from it. In this time I have been able to concentrate on inner awareness and dissolving for hours, reaching in some occasions four or five hours of dissolving and blockage visualization and many eventual distractions. The normal practice time oscillates between 20 minutes and one hour.

Only a few weeks or months since I started practicing this way, I started to feel some curious secondary effects in my after meditation and normal life state.

#1: I started to feel spontaneous buzzings, slight but not alarming pains, hot and liquid sensations and physical vibrations following lines on my body. After a quick check of the little I know about meridians I found that many of those sensations were focalized at meridians sections and acupuncture points. I never felt disturbed because of this sensations. Only curious. They can be quite intense sometimes.

#2: I almost always practiced the downward inner dissolving method of work, avoiding to practice from feet to head. The rare ocassions I did that I found myself agitated and unbalanced after practice and tending to agressiveness or hyperactivity. The curious effect here is that when I have been practicing the downward direction sometimes the dissolving direction “tends” to go the opposite direction, upwards, as if some kind of internal elastic bounce were happening. Sometimes it happens when i reach my feet or just at the start of the practice. I usually let it go upwards but not making that day an intense practice to avoid those secondary effects.

#3: At a pure physical and not emotional level, sometimes when I am making a normal life, I feel how the parts of my body which suffers major and minor blockages, mainly legs and parts of the shoulders, wrists, feet, etc, start getting hot and buzzing spontaneusly, as if the practice continues in some kind of “auto pilot” state.

And that is all. I would be very happy if some avanced instructor could orientate me about those issues.

Ten months and no response :)

Fortunately, Bruce resolved some of my doubts with his video about inner dissolving and pain.

However, I am still amazed about how in an out-of-training mental state, some of the sensations associated with a deep dissolving session appears spontaneously.

    Kind regards!
