I’ve never been a fan of practicing the energy postures. They always seemed like a waste of time. The instruction didn’t make sense to me. The benefit of practicing them seemed marginal at best. Today I discovered how wrong I was.
I’ve been jumping through the entire BMP video set looking for material that I might have missed or instruction I didn’t previously understand. I checked out Module 5 video lesson 9 on posture 7. I started practicing and can’t believe the effect on the lower tan tien. Holy crap.
For the first time I want to know the 200 original postures that Bruce says is the foundation of all Taoist neigung. I plan to use the postures Bruce taught in the BMP as a starting point. I’ll be able to practice using the CSF in a relaxed manner while simultaneously practicing the posture. I now convinced that these are meant to be done after you have access and control of the CSF. I still think they are a waste of time before that stage.
