Noticing this is the week-day of Guru Poornima (if not familiar, per different traditions, but espec. Yogic-Vedanta, Hindu/Buddhist.. etc… but even other cultures), to appreciate those that have spent the time to help awaken and just spend time with those of us developing…
In the hope to better become a “Student, for which the (appropriate) teacher will appear”. (and also how Teachers can become the teacher for which the (appropriate) Student(s) appear.) In recognition of what I’ve received in my journey trying to understand Taoism, in what I sense was a pull back from gradeschool yrs (so long, nothing except concepts were avail.. then understanding how Concepts can be expressed in Form and Action- NeiGung as embodiment of the Teaching ideals… so then seeking to get to the “Real Stuff” -in martial Arts.. as well as Meditation/Energy work…
Wasn’t until I found Bruce’s teaching, even after having seen/learned so much- then first hours of class with him- more changes then yrs from else (and a good yr of stuff to work on and devel.. and that was just the merest intro)… been a while sense then… still a ways (still stuck in some in-between phase).. but even though I’ve only spoken directly with him fewer times.. I’ve been immersing myself in.. and just to take a moment to affirm that.

anyway- anyone have a similar ‘gifting’ from this Teacher (and his line/lineage) …. ? -or other Teacher(s) in other traditions?
Especially thinking how going-over the “basics” again and again, until we might go- AHA
What breakthroughs might any reading this have? -anyway- [ Happy Guru Poornima.. or just Happy Thurs/or/Friday]
