AnonymousGuestIf you get a chance to meet Bruce and ask questions but don’t have any of your own, here’s a few I’d like to hear answered:
Is there a progression from the yin / yang channels to the left / right channels to the central channel essentially going deeper into the body? If so, are the yin / yang channels in the 6 layers of tissue outside the bones, the left and right in the bones, and the central channel inside the bone marrow?
Do the left and right channels have a loop (or circuit, or circle) that has a yin and yang side similar to the governor / conception vessels? if so, is there both a smaller loop between the kwa and shoulders nest as well as a larger loop going through the same circuit but extending out the arms and legs through the bones?
I opened the spinal cord enough so I don’t experience the cerebral spinal fluid and the cord separately. It is just one smooth connected piece from the tail bone to bai hui. Are there three energies segments, depths to the spinal cord, or more simply just the sides (front / back, left / right) and the center? Or something else?
Are the lower, middle, and upper tan tiens first dealt with at the level of the spinal cord? In other words, do you simply begin connecting to the lower section of the spinal cord for the lower tan tien and the middle (around the heart level) to connect to the middle tan tien and the upper tan tien by connecting from the throat notch to the bai hui?
When beginning to open the upper tan tien, is it important to first open the throat notch as fully as possible? (Basically treating the cavity of the throat notch as the interface to upper cord and the brain)
Is the seventh palm change about finding yin and yang flowing in both directions simultaneously (in the same channel instead of opposing channels)? This seems to be where the sense of nothing and everything is found as well as stillness within motion.
Is one of the major themes of the eighth palm change phasing? For example, is yin and yang fluctuating back and forth in every direction but the sides of the body expressing each are out of phase by 180 degrees?
Is the etheric body opened once you are working in the bone marrow? This seems to be the access route for playing with the flux field outside the body.

AnonymousGuestHi, James. I think you need to find a way to get these questions to Bruce. Not sure how, but these are deep. Good luck.

AnonymousGuestMethinks that all these questions are answered by your own heart-mind, yours and yours only, not Bruce’s or anyone else’s.

AnonymousGuestI have answers to all of my questions. I suspect that some of my answers will prove to be correct, some will have missed the mark, and some will be simply irrelevant. It would be nice to have Bruce weigh in, but it is ultimately unnecessary.
I figured out how to connect the body so that everything from my finger tips, head, tailbone, and feet is starting to move as one connected whole. This was very physical at first, but once the yin/yang, left/right, and central channels started to open more – I found the etheric.
It has taken a long time to get the etheric field to open tangibly. To be honest, at this point, I can’t tell if I’m bone marrow washing or brain washing.
I’m making a joke, but there could be more truth to this than you might think. This is where a master’s experience and feedback would be really helpful.
Anyway, I’m working on opening from the lower tan tien out to the edge of the etheric field and to close from the inside surface of the etheric sphere back toward the lower tan tien. The hard part is ensuring the field is complete and without gaps. That seems to be where the instructions in module 4 are useful.
The most interesting thing I’ve found is that (from one perspective) there is no difference between opening out from the lower tan tien and opening from the inside surface of the etheric field toward the center. The shape is different but the change is the same.
I’m hoping that this is the one change that Liu was talking about in “Perspective of Three Masters”. I can’t know for sure.
At some point it will be time to start exploring how to open out from the edge of the etheric sphere, but I don’t have any instructions on how to proceed. Basically, the jing phase is complete. The Chi phase is next. The only person that knows what comes next is Bruce.

AnonymousGuestWhen I was at the Water Palm Change seminar, I got to speak with Bruce and have answers to most of these questions. I’m considering splitting them off into separate threads. If the forum isn’t completely dead and people want to hear the answers, let me know; otherwise, I won’t waste my time. If at least 10 people reply with a simple yes, I’ll start writing. As incentive, I’ll note that Bruce’s conversation with me covered topics like the central channel, emptiness, and the tai ji space (I’m not sure if that is the correct spelling).
I’m also considering going back to some of my old posts to revisit many of the same topics from a much deeper perspective. I thought this might help future members see how all of these topics and our practice evolves over time while setting the record straight where I may have missed the mark.
