Does anybody know if there is a video for this exercise in the Program? I looked through the DVDs in 3rd and 4th installments and couldn’t find it. The description of the esercise in Module 10 is good but I thought that video could add some juice to it.

No, I didn’t find any video on it, either. i haven’t watched all the DVDs from the last module since i haven’t really gotten there yet, but if you didn’t see it, it’s probably not there. I checked Paul Cavel’s websites and though he has some good circling hands exercises you can watch, he doesn’t have any of roll the ball. A search on YouTube didn’t find one. I’d like to learn this but I think I’ll have to find an Energy Arts instructor. I actually remember Bill Ryan teaching us this in an advanced Heaven and Earth class years ago, but I didn’t maintain it and have forgotten the details.

It’s really difficult to get right. Creating a sphere and filling it up is not that hard, but when you start moving it the whole thing becomes quite involved. Not sure if it’s all that doable without a partner to be honest.

I’ve rolled a bit in my wing chun training but I’m quite awful to be honest. The only things I could suggest at my stage is to just keep the sphere structure like you’re holding a beach ball in between your arms, then fill that structure by expanding. That has helped me a fair bit.

All the good people I’ve rolled with have really heavy arms and you can’t move them. All the really good people have those heavy arms but if you push against them it feels like moving through air as they don’t directly take your force. These things are good feedback when practicing with a partner and I’m unsure how you’d even know you’re doing it right if you’re just by yourself.
