I know there are a fair amount of comments on the topic of back pain and injury, on the forum, but at this point, I’m trying to give advice to a friend and I want to make sure I’m not steering them in the wrong direction. If you were working with a complete beginner and they were trying to rehabilitate from a disc injury suffered in a car accident, where would you start?

    Thanks,
    James

I had a bad back for 18 years. The best book I ever read ia Pete Egoscue’s Pain Free: A Revolutionary Method of Stopping Chronic Pain. I did his ‘e-cises’ which corrected the misalignments (& as a side effect lost my flat feet–which is a misalignment originating in the hips). Pain Free is one of the most important books in my life.
