AnonymousGuestI have a question about the tai chi mastery program. I’m currently looking or have been watching the tai chi for beginners where Bruce talks about what tai chi is and how to do the movements properly etc… But I don’t see the total form within this section of the program. Within this part of the tai chi mastery program Bruce show you how to do the movements properly and so forth but I was expecting him to demonstrate some type of total form from start to finish at the end of the tai chi for beginners section of his program and I don’t see this, can you help me out here? I don’t know what form to practice on my own because I’ve never seen the form that he’s talking about here only bits and pieces. Help me out here.

AnonymousGuestYeah, Blaine I totally agree with you, believe me knowing Bruce he doesn’t leave anything out, he doesn’t leave one thing out when he does something so yeah, more than likely it will be in the dvd’s.

AnonymousGuesthello Paul, just to add what I think you are asking about (I must admit, I have been looking at getting the Tai Chi Mastery program, but I have not yet done so, so I haven’t seen what you are looking at- although I read the sales-page with the outline, and from my prior learnings from Bruce) – so with that limitation, I think you are asking for a demo of the form, all linked together in flow- vs all the parts..
in addition to the “online portion” (I believe the first part of the form is taught in a streaming section- vs the DVDs), but for a demo- see the EnergyArts YouTube channelOn that YouTube channel- there are two videos (below) the first in particular may be what you are looking for (links below) -also there was a DVD where Bruce taught the WuShort Form (broke down the various moves,, also it shows front, side and view from behind).. that and some other video footage where he demo’d the Wu form (at Martial Arts demos and such, or for a TV show) are on other videos (may google search his name, Wu tai chi etc.)
If you had already seen these, and you were looking for something different, my regrets- hopefully these might add- either way, best of luck in your learnings..
below video, on that YouTube channel is Bruce showing the Full Wu “Short” form (vs the Wu Long form)

*****a second video- that shows just the first part of Wu form
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBlEHZeY7s0&feature=plcp
there are other videos that show the first part of Yang and of Chen Forms, as in a comparison/contrastNovember 22, 2012 at 7:46 am #132853
PaulCavelMemberHi Paul,
In the Beginners Program Bruce demonstrates only the pieces up to the Single Whip which is about 1/3 of the full short form, or what we have been calling the mini-Wu Form. We have a video on the front page of the website on the bottom right (www.energyarts.com) from Youtube that shows Bruce doing the complete Wu Short Form. We will post this video within the membership site for members.
In the first installment you will get the complete form on DVDs including Bruce demonstrating the entire form. On Monday (office is closed till then) I will look into publishing Bruce doing the full form in this setting online so you have it now and don’t have to wait for the delivery.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Richard
Also just wanted to mention that there is also a group forum that you can access here if you have specific questions about anything in the program: http://www.energyarts.com/forums/private-forums/tai-chi-mastery-program

AnonymousGuestI was thinking about this a few days back, if there was a single video that just showed the whole form without any verbal instruction, and would that be in the dvd package somewhere? Then I remembered, there *already is* a video demo of the whole form, its on the EA homepage and anybody can access it. It’s been there for a while now.
With that said, having it in the tai chi online video area for TCMP members will be nice as well, that way we can save/download the video. AFAIK we are not able to save/download youtube videos directly.

AnonymousGuestIn addition to Bruce’s video of the short form on the EA front page, here is a video of senior instructor Brian Cooper demonstrating the short form.
