AnonymousGuestHi everyone,
Just a heads-up that we’ve updated the format and description of the April Tai Chi event in Boston.
Senior Instructors Eric Peters and Craig Barnes will be teaching two different tracks at the event, but we’ve carved out the weekend portion with Eric to focus on the first third of the Wu Style Short Form, like we’re learning here in the Mastery Program.
Special for Mastery Program Members: Register for the weekend for $100 (normal price $210).
You can read more about the event here.
If you’re planning to come for the whole week, you can sign up for the Monday-Thursday portion through Brookline Tai Chi (see link above), but please note, early registration ends February 15. After that, prices will go up.
If you’re coming in from out of town, we do have information about places to stay near the school.
Let me know if you have any questions about the event here.
Thanks,

AnonymousGuestI’ve already signed up – can’t wait! I’ve been working through the Mastery Program this winter, slowly, and it’s absolutely amazing! This is just what I need this spring, so I can continue to refine my form. Did I mention I can’t wait?!

AnonymousGuestHey everyone,
I just wanted to let you know I’ll be focusing on two groups at the Brookline Tai Chi Immersion Week. For those of you in the Tai Chi Mastery Program and other beginners learning the Short Form, there will be an emphasis on relaxation, internal body alignments and the external shape of the form.
I will also review the Short Form for those who have learned it with a good foundation and cover more advanced topics such as internal lengthening, circularity, and standing and holding postures.
There will be two person exercises and I will offer personal corrections throughout the week to both groups.
And if you know the Wu Long Form, Senor Instructor Craig Barnes will be teaching to a separate group.
Dan Kleiman has set this up for the weekend only or the whole week. This will be the third time Craig and I have taught a Tai Chi Immersion Week at Brookline Tai Chi and we look forward to seeing you there.

AnonymousGuestThanks for the update, Eric.
I’ve been talking to Craig about the Long Form track that he’ll be leading and the goal is to review the external shape of the Long Form while focusing on releasing internal tension, balancing left and right, and moving from the center to unify the chi of the body.
You guys inspired me to write a little more about “The How, What, and Why of Tai Chi Practice” too.
If you’re planning to come for all six days, just sign up for the weekday-only portion on BrooklineTaiChi.org after you’ve signed up for the weekend portion through the special Mastery program discount link here. Download this pdf for places to stay near Brookline Tai Chi.
Let me know if you have any questions either by responding here or email me at dan.kleiman@brooklinetaichi.org.
Thanks!

AnonymousGuestWell Dan,
it seems that slots are filling up for the Brookline Tai Chi 2013 Immersion Week, though the week days of Monday through Thursday may have some room.
Please contact Dan at dan.kleiman@brooklinetaichi.org if you are interested.
Craig Barnes and I will also be teaching three nights of workshops during Immersion Week:
