Watch Module15 video 31 from 6:05 to about 8:30. This is the Water Palm. It is basically the technology of pulling silk.

This is a more sophisticated version of manipulating the blood than I posted. The movement pattern is repeated over and over. One arm stretches way out, locks the structure, then the opposite arm pulls silk (increases the pressure dramatically). Do it on one side, then the other, then smaller, than continue moving without losing it, then start learning to switch it back and forth from side to side at will (you are switching which hand is locking the structure and which is increasing the pressure).

That’s the Water Palm Change in less than 2.5 minutes.

I thought I’d mention that there is a little trick here. If you watch the clip I mentioned, you’ll note that Issac was so stretched out that his was about to shred apart. His ligaments and tendons probably felt like they were going to tear out of their insertion points.

The trick is to figure out how to build the pressure in the abdominal area (lower tantien) rather than the limbs. Then you can increase the amount of pressure significantly without doing harm. It is quite a bit more difficult to do, but dramatically more comfortable. The abdominal area natural distributes the pressure evenly throughout the body so no single piece is strained.

    Thanks James,

Without you I would have never become dis-confused.

(I’ve written 2 comments about the different schemes in the energy arts system, but for various reasons they never made it through.)

Bruce certainly makes it clear how to engage and build the pressure in your blood vessels.

I was never clear about what you were talking about with the 5 physical layers/stages.
I kept thinking that you might have them mixed up with the 8 energy bodies or the 16 neigong or the 8 trigrams of the I-Ching or yin/yang.

Nevertheless I now seem to be making reasonable progress now that I can do the Lake Palm—-although I haven’t really incorporated the opposing ascending/descending double helix spirals into my whole body yet–particularly the feet.

    Your posts have helped immensely.

I’m seeing this in a new light. Bruce doesn’t mention it here, but the intrinsic lymphatic pump is equally important to the vascular system that he does mention. The combination of the two and the internal pressures they create results in circulation and power. Making this conscious is the real challenge.
