What should I learn to improve kidney health

Hi Everyone

A good friend of mine has been told that she a large stone in one kidney and has been told the kidney is now non-functional. I would like to know if any of the energy arts can help with kidney health and even regeneration of kidney function. Does anyone have any direct experience of kidney healing? Currently I am learning qigong (five keys) and just starting out.
