Hello,My name is Jeanette, and I am very fortunate to be living and teaching in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. I began to practice tai chi in 2010 and discovered that doing tai chi makes me feel beautiful! Wanting to learn more, I joined the Energy Arts training group in 2015, and in summer 2017, I attended the instructor training program for Dragon and Tiger Medical Qigong in Washington DC. It was an experience that changed both my personal practice and my teaching skills profoundly. For the better, of course!!My classes tend to be small with a mixture of beginners and experienced practitioners. We learn and practice with a spirit of gentleness, both for ourselves and others. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry. Sometimes we are quiet and thoughtful, sometimes we are lighthearted and downright silly! But always, we are intent on improving our ability to relax, let go, feel our bodies and move freely.Pagosa Springs is a small community in Southwestern Colorado with lots of summer visitors and winter skiers. If you happen to be here for a retreat at Tara Mandala, or to soak in the world’s deepest hot springs, or to try your luck with snowboarding at Wolf Creek, please come by and join a class. If you live in the area, and are interested in a regular group to practice with, I would be excited to meet you! May our practice bring peace to us all.Jeanette
